Quality is good especially for the price. It is not overpriced, nor has unnecessary extras like many of the others. Excellent value and meets needs and looks good.
I love this pack and play! The colors are pretty and gender neutral. I like the fact that even though the bassinette feature has a build in bumper that there is still breathing room at the bottom in case the baby rolls into it. My son also loves the the bears on the mobile! I thought they might be too plain for him to notice, but he loves them. The diaper changer took a little elbow grease to put together, but that could be because we didn't find the instructions til later! They are on the mattress pad BTW! Very sturdy and nice! A great buy!
The ease of set up, functionality and attractiveness of this product is perfect for the baby. I would definitely reccomend it to anyone who needs one! It is not gender-specific so it is great for either a boy (which we got!) or a little girl. It is comfortable and the changing table has been wonderful!
I use this play yard daily. It is easy to fold and take the basic unit anywhere. The bassinet, mobile and changer do not fit in the carry bag for travel but its great to keep set up around the house. The only thing I really dont like is the design of the changer. It was fine until the baby got to weigh about ten lbs. or so-now it bends causing him to roll to the edge towards the middle of the play yard.I wish they would have made supports to attach to the side rails to evenly distribute the baby's weight.
We knew other reviews said difficult to set up, and anticipated it would take a few extra minutes. Instructions under bottom of mattress, in sleeve which makes it difficult to find. Otherwise, we truly enjoy this product, and is great for Grandma's house. Easy to move from bedroom to living room depending on use. Changing area beneficial for newborn and is at a good height. Very happy with this product, and colors are perfect for a little boy.
This Pack 'n Play concept is great -- a bassinette sleeping area and changing table for when you are dealing with an infant, then conversion to a playpen as the child grows. I can even use the area between the playpen floor and the bottom surface of the bassinette as storage for diapers, clothes, etc. between baby's visits. Setting up the playpen itself was a breeze, it was the bassinette/changing table that threw me for a loop! But it's all done now and I expect to get a least 2 years of use out of it for my newborn grandson -- possibly more if he doesn't exceed the weight limit. A smidge pricey, but it seems well constructed and sturdy. If it lasts as long as I expect, it will have been well worth the purchase price. This model came with a wind up mobile and although the hanging toys are a bit 'blah' (3 brown teddy bears) and it plays the unimaginative "Rockabye Baby", it should provide him with some diversion. I plan to put this to use a few times a month and test the "portable" nature of it over the summer -- it even came with it's own carry bag.
I shopped around for quite a while looking for a reasonably priced pack 'n' play before buying one. This one met my expectations perfectly!! It was well worth the money and will be used all the time as our daughter gets older!
The mobile is a waste. You have to really wind it up, the music isn't easy on the ears, and it only lasts a couple minutes if that. We just ended up using the bassinet for the changing table, but once our son is older I'm sure we'll want the changing table. Our son is almost 9 weeks and the mattress is already bowing. He's not a big boy either. We're moving him to his crib now because he's wiggling around (see photo, which I took 4 weeks ago - I lay him in there long ways) and it's a tight squeeze width-wise. It's nice but not great. I say skip the mobile and changing table (weight limit is 25lbs). Get one with just the bassinet feature.
After looking at many pack 'n plays, my husband thought this would be the best for the price. I would say it is an average piece of equipment. My biggest disappointment is the changing area. After a week of changing our baby on it, I noticed that when I put him on it, he slid to the side and wedged there because it had started to weaken and lean in. Try changing an upset, dirty diaper-wearing 3 week old who is now uncomfortably wedged in a cold, plastic changing station. Needless to say, we don't use it anymore. The mobile is fine and the baby likes to watch it. We haven't put him in the play area much yet, so I don't have anything to add about that.
I purchased the Pack and Play as a gift for a new grandbaby. After struggling to set it up(The instructions say One hand set up) I finally got it together and realized the features were lacking that I thought I was getting. Apparently you get more with other varieties. (Vibrating, music panel, Diaper, etc organizer) So I was disappointed, but I figure I got what I paid for and it will work for at least one baby, don't think it will be reusable though. Didn't seem that sturdy.
