A/C adapter which is NOT included (can be ordered from proform.com for $19.99 plus shiping and handling) they aslo have an extended warranty plan that starts out at $99 for 1 year, $119 for 2 years etc. We enjoy this exercise bike very much and the seat is extremely safe and comfortable to sit on. My husband is a stroke victim and He is considered a hemiplegic. He can sit on the seat with great balance. Easy for him to get on and off with extreme left leg weakness and no use of his left arm.
I ordered this product on Feb 6, 2010 using the site to store option, it arrived at our store approx. 6 days later with some minor surface scratches and some parts that seemed a bit banged up. My husband set it up in about 1 1/2 hrs. First off - it doesn't mention anywhere on the product details that this machine requires 4 D batteries OR an A/C adapter which is NOT included (can be ordered from proform for an extra charge of $80) I would actually be ok with this, however we noticed right away when using it, the resistance levels were not working properly- there are 12 different resistance levels and only 3 of the levels actually worked properly. The users maunual indicated a solution which was actually about as difficult as setting it all in the first place and turned out not to work out at all (dismantling and turning inside screws accordingly) Furthermore after attempting to use my ipod with this product as indicated in the manual, the speakers worked for about 15 minutes, then stop working entirely. I'm not sure if we got a defective model, but for the price- these were a lot of issues!! making the product a piece of junk in our oppinion. Buyer beware!!
