I had previous owned another brand of stationary bicycle which was more expensive than this one and it was not as comfortable and was noisy!
This is a very solid and well made exercise bike. It was quite easy to assemble, took my wife and me less than an hour. Everything fit together easy. It has a lot of features, more that I will actually use, and I do not think I will subscribe to the iFit service. Bike is quiet during exercise with the built in fan off. The built in fan is a bit noisy. Pedal motion and very smooth. This is replacing an older bike that I had used for years, I decided I wanted to step up to a more higher end bike and this bike fits that description. I used Walmart's free ship to store as a discount was offered on the bike if I chose this shipping option. It was simple enough to go to the store to pick it up. Box was quite heavy but manageable, an associate assisted me to take out to my car.
Great product
I love everything about this bike.
Calorie count is way off. On several other stationary bikes I have used to include Life Fitness and Precor, calorie count was in the 600 to 700 range after an hour ride at 23 MPH. This bike indicates 171 calories after the same time period and MPH. Resistant levels were very similar across models.
Tough for a shorter person
The bike arrived with the plastic broken in two places on the main body. I called and reported the condition and was told I would receive a phone call or email in response. I have received neither. The other con is the seat is very uncomfortable. I am looking at options to replace it.
I am unable to get the WiFi to work on my Proform 14. Call Proform support and they didn't know how to fix it. I like the bike but I am not happy with this problem
The main reason I purchased the bicycle was for the video map features. I even paid for an ifit subscription. The machine will not link with the app and the preloaded and downloaded videos do not stream. They are basically a series of screen shots. Works just fine as your average run of the mill exercise bike but that's not what I paid for. I'm hoping the company will work out the kinks in their programming.
Sorry for negativity, but I have had the bike for 1 month, it has never worked, I was sent a replacement part that didn't fix the problem, and a new part has been sent and awaiting the technician to show up next week and attempt repair. It is no longer brand new and I am not happy at all.
