The price is right for this smooth magnetic resistance bike. I am coming from a standard non-connected spin bike, and this is light years ahead. My one issue was the resistance was pretty light. I worked with support and was able to make an adjustment. If you need to do this you will need to allow the magnets to start closer to the wheel. You remove the cover that says proform on it. Then remove the brace with the spring on it. There is a bolt with two nuts on it. If you loosen the top nut, the the magnets will be closer and the resistance will be much more inline with the ifit instructors. I did switch up the seat for a more comfortable one. I have ridden Peleton bikes as well and this is very close. I highly recommend this.
Absolutely love this machine. I was looking at the higher end model and found this one where it uses my tablet. The ride is smooth, it controls my speed so I can't cheat. The iFIT workouts are so fun and all over the world. I would buy this all over again. Very happy with it.
I've had this bike for a few weeks and I love it! For the price I'm very impressed how it compares to spin bikes I've used in gyms. I've done a few workouts with the ifit app but really enjoy doing my own workouts to fun music. I read some reviews that mentioned the seat not being comfortable, and I'm guessing they were not in bike shape because it has been totally fine for me. All bike seats will hurt your inner butt bones when you are a beginner, so get a gel seat cover if you are new at spinning.
I purchased this as I had been eyeing the Peloton bikes for quite some time but didn't know if I would stick with it long enough to justify the price. I do like that this bike includes a one year iFIT membership. It also syncs to the iFIT app via Bluetooth so you don't have to manually adjust your resistance. What I don't like…my front and back platform screws did not screw all the way in but remain tight, I just have to check on them often. The bike also makes a lot of noise while using - like it isn't put together tightly enough. The seat is also hard and needs a good seat cover. Also, the iFIT app leaves a lot to be desired. There is no high energy music to keep you motivated and the background noise on the scenic rides is horrible (cars passing etc). I've had to turn on closed captioning on my iPad and listen to music on my iPhone to get the best workout. Overall, for the price, this is a no brainer.
I can't complain about this bike! I'm satisfied but I had to put a seat cushion on and I bought padded biker shorts because the seat is awful!!! The iFIT app is great too!
The bike frame is sturdy and seems like it will last. It is quiet and smooth. My family is enjoying using it. However, there were a few issues during assembly. The back leg screw threads weren't deep enough for the provided bolts - I had to use washers. Also, the front plastic electric cover screw hole diameter wasn't large enough, I had to get a drill bit and make it slightly larger.
Put the bike together then took it apart and returned it. It has two design flaws that made it unacceptable for my wife. The handlebars don't adjust forward/aft and the seat adjustment is only a couple inches leaving the position on the bike too stretched out. At 5'6" - 5'7" she isn't short. If you place a tablet in the tablet holder it covers the console making it impossible to see/use. Resistance adjustment is through the console not the knob below the bars. You can use the IFit app and then the console would display on the tablet but she already has an app she likes and sometimes uses the tablet for other things while spinning.
Overall solid bike if I could use it to its fullest potential. Resistance pair with iFIT app works only on occasion. Bike is not steady, shakes and squeaks due to the 4 M10 X 25mm screws holding frame onto the front/rear stabilizers that won't screw in all the way. Activated warranty and reported problem before warranty expired and received no response.
Could not complete assembly step one due to screw holes not machined to proper depth. Then could not complete step two due to crank arm threads being defective. So I have had the bike for two weeks and it is sitting waiting for parts...one of which was of course backordered. So far "F" for quality of machining and parts support.
The bike frame was rusted when it arrived.
