This is a fantastic machine. Easy to use and quiet. I assembled by myself which was tricky but doable. If your handy and creative one person can do it but 2 recommended. Easy to go from standing to sitting and the added bike pedals are nice. I thought the shorter stride length was going to be an issue but it feels good. Im only 5 foot 7 so any taller the stride may be short. The 16 resistance levels are nice. I had to look up and YouTube how to by pass the ifit set up because they really want you to subscribe to ifit. Without ifit you can still use the normal programs and controls. Several minor reasons for a 4 star and not 5 or that the seat wobbles just a bit when riding and also you have to stand up to adjust the seat each time. And last the machine does not fold for storage and its quite long so pick a spot and leave it. $450 for 2 Machines in one: I love it. Definitely recommend.
Overall, this is a nice piece of equipment… If put together properly, it is very quiet… If you look through the paperwork, there is an QR code to direct you to 3D voice guided instructions… Also, it comes with a 6 month subscription to iFIT… The only downside is that the stride is only 15”… If you are used to the ellipticals in the gyms, which I am, you want an elliptical with 18-19” stride…
Great Elliptical, however giving 4 stars because of the Ifit requirement, (but I did read the reviews and bypassed it by holding the button down for 15secs like recommended) and didn't mention it needs 4 D batteries in order for it to work. I also had to order a 9 volt AC/DC power adapter if I wanted to plug it in instead of using batteries. I was able to order from Amazon. I just wish I had known this or it should have come with the product. I hired someone from Thumbtack to put it together and it took 2hrs. I originally paid for Handyman thru Walmart but had to cancel because they cancelled on me 3 times, so I just cancelled the service and found someone on Thumbtack that had 5 star reviews.
Console doesn’t work on manual. You have to pay for iFit subscription to get functionality. This was not stated as a requirement. Delivery was terrible!! Box looked like it had been through a war zone. FedEx delivered at the end of the driveway near the road. They noted they delivered AT THE FRONT DOOR! Not!
I thought this was going to be a great option for a hybrid exercise machine. Pros, its a 2 in one machine and a few hundred bucks cheaper than proforms actual website. Cons, set up is difficult. For the reviews saying its easy, that just someone with pride issues, its not and it took about an hour and a half or more. Secondly its awkward to take steps as the step distance is too close, my 4 year old daughter can use it, literally she uses it, which is a win for her health but not the best for us adults that need exercise. next up, the peddles for the bike are not in the best position so its actually more comfortable to use the elliptical foot peddles when using the bike. The two things that are deal breakers for me: it comes Locked and you have to subscribe to a monthly exercise plan to unlock it! You literately have to go to their website and download an app onto your phone to subscribe before it will turn on. Fyi if you do get this machine just hold down the ON button for 1 minute and it will bypass the subscription and turn on, thank you youtube. Finally, after a few uses it now makes a banging sound in the exercise wheel. This wheel is the only part that comes per-assembled so I know its not something I did wrong. So now as I exercise I have to listen to bang, bang, bang, Unless I reverse my steps, then it goes away but any forward movements and its back. This is a common problem with proform equipment according to my online research while trying to fix it. FYI i haven't found a fix yet. All in all I would not recommend this exercise machine. Hope this helps someone.
The box came damaged. Upon installment we discovered the back by the seat is broken.
unsure what this weighted peice under the pedal is for. but it arrived broken. cutently still building it.
The bike came damaged, so I'm waiting for a replacement.
If the box looks like it's been opened take pictures. I open my box which was reclosed with tape, it had been opened somewhere else. I am missing the right pivot leg. I went to ottawa il. Walmart they said it's past the return date, nothing they could do. This is worthless paper weight. Why would someone take this part. I put it together, it sucks. I can not afford to purchase the part needed $62.00 plus shipping. I buy alot of stuff from Walmart. NOT ANY MORE IM DONE.
We recently (06/21) bought Hybrid Trainer. We assembled it ourselves. Instructions were not very clear in the assembly sheet and when assembling we found that 1 screw was not fitting into the groove of the elliptical. That was shocking as someone would not test this. I am adding a picture of it too. After assembling it without 1 screw to see how it feels, the whole elliptical was wobbling while we start peddling. The whole experience is not good at all. Wish I know this before.
