I didn't know how these could be absorbent when taking them out of the package. The directions could be better. Fortunately there is a wealth of information available online so I knew to wash them. I washed in hot water with NO liquid fabric softener and then they crinkled up and it became more obvious to see how thirsty the cloth is. I decided to test the absorbency of them by using one as a "towel" after my shower. Amazingly, I dried myself off with one sheet, including my hair. Even after it's obviously damp it continues to soak up water.
This is the perfect size burp cloth! Washes wonderfully. Highly recommend this burp to monogram on. The material has a better quality to hold high density embroidery designs.
These are ok for burp cloths but I do not recommend them for regular cloth diapering. They are thin and don't hold much. They are also too big. Even for burp cloths I would prefer a smaller size.
Wanted these to use as "spitty" cloths. They were not the soft, absorbant cloths that I expected. They were rough and thin. I sent them back immediately. These must be used with some kind of liner pads or something 'cause these things wouldn't absorb anything like they are.
