I bought these about 4 weeks ago and im ready to sell all my more expensive cloth diapers and replace them with more Kushies, they are very easy to use and i have not had any leaking from the diapers at all even when using them overnight. Don't waste your money on the more expensive brands these are much better value and a better product!
We've been using these diapers with our son and have not had any issues, they fit well (he's about 14lbs), and we haven't had any leaks. They're also super cute and easy to care for. They are a little bulky but we expected that with a cloth all in one diaper anyways and now he just has to wear a larger size, no big deal! After having so many problems with synthetics (they give our son a rash) we're glad we found these!
I have been using Kushies Cloth Diapers since my son was born 16 months ago. They are durable and get the job done. They are very easy to clean it is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be dealing with cloth diapers. GET THE DISPOSABLE LINERS!! They make it so much easier. These new designs are very cute and the new material they are using on the outside lets more air get to the baby which means less diaper rash. Great Product. I recommend them all the time. My Baby Boy loves kushies.
The Kushies AIO ulta-lites are great. The water proof fabric feel like nylon and is thin, The diaper are very absorbent and easy to use. I use flushable diaper liners with these diapers and it makes washing very easy. Th diapers are a great price compared to other cloth diapers that are All in One and work better then most.
I am a mom of 3 with one on the way. I have used Kushies Ultra diapers for all my kids - so I've been using them for over 7 years and I don't buy as many as they recommend, so they get washed more often. These new diapers have a different cover which is softer & thiner than the old version. The inside is the same. I've loved my old Kushies - they have held up VERY well. In 7 years, the only thing that has worn some is on the old diapers the cover starts to crack around the gathering. They are still completely functional though. I'm assuming this problem will not exist with the new fabric. I have found Kushies occasionally to be a little leaky for newborns only, but not any worse than disposables. The new patterns are beautiful, though my only gripe is that a "neutral" option is not available. So I chose boy patterns because they would also be okay for a girl.
I am thrilled with the amount of urine this diaper holds. I have a big wetter and it keeps everything tight even through the night. The only complaint that I have is they are so very bulky. My son's rear end is about 3 times bigger than a regular disposable diaper. We mainly use these at home because of this. The liners work wonderful for catching the poo poo.
They wash up great, are good quality, and don't leak out. We use I.V. disposable liners, and that makes cleanup easier plus they are reusable up to 5x. We use vinegar and borax in a cold water bucket to presoak the dirty diapers, and this helps get the stain out after washing in the washer. We do a dry bucket for the wet diapers. We hang dry if weather permits. They take about 1 hr on medium heat in our dryer, and they don't shrink.
the diapers have been great for every day use, with easy to care for and wash. my husband even loves them.
This is a great price for the number of diapers. However, I was a bit disappointed that the colors of the print on the outside fabric faded after the second wash. Also, the inside flap is great for ease of cleaning. I'd only wish that it were attached at the front rather than the back-- then it could be folded thicker for boys. That said, we've had NO leaks so far, so maybe that isn't necessary anyway! Also, my baby is 21 lbs, which is smaller than suggested for using the toddler size. These are working for him, though, so I'm really pleased!
I have been using the cushies occasionally with my 16 month old son. I say occasionally because I could only afford to buy 1 pack which contains 5 diapers. The recommended amount of cushies to purchase is 25 or 5 packs. That makes perfect sense but does not seem very affordable. I feel as if the product is high quality and very absorbent. My son does not seem to mind that the cushie is kinda bulky and makes it hard for him to walk. He is a very slender baby and sometimes the cushie leaks, due to it fitting loosely around his waist. There are pros and cons to owning this product. Most of all I love the fact that we are creating less garbage and helping the environment even if not all the time. I just think that it would be smarter if you are thinking about buying this product to make sure to get a few packs if you can.
