I have been using PetArmor for the last 6 months for both my dog and cat and it has worked every bit as good as Frontline for half the price! My pets don't run and hide from it like they do Frontline either. Love it and have recommended it to family members.
I would tell anyone that wants to know. Great product for the price. Don't up the price. I'll be super happy.
This product (when used faithfully) works! I've been using this product for nine years and no fleas or ticks. I briefly switched to the Plus and tried in the other expensive brand and my dog had a bad rash from whatever is in the Plus version in any brand. Oral pills make her sick. Please don't ever stop making the regular version. It's getting hard to find in stores.
I have an overweight spayed female Mini Pin mix and she's a black and tan shorthair dog. However I live in the suburbs of Phoenix and the weather is starting to get a tad colder here, and with weather changes, comes the ticks again! I've just bearly kept up with them all summer long, but had used other dog tick drops from Hartz. Those didn't really work well at all. But these, I have to say, I'm truly impressed! They worked right from the first day, my dog hasn't brought in one single tick at all, I even looked between her toes! This is great stuff and for way less than the other big name brands too! Also, it dried quickly and didn't make my dogs hair/fur stand straight up like Hartz brand drops did!
In the past, we have tried natural remedies to control ticks and fleas on our pets and they have worked until this year. This has been the worst tick season we can remember and we have had to resort to chemicals. We have tried lots of other, more expensive products before this one and they may have helped a little, but they did not prevent our dogs from being a host from time to time. The PetArmor Flea & Tick Protection for Dogs is working. The ticks are still in the yard, but the ones that come in off the dogs are not staying on them. We have found no attached, bloated, or engorged ticks. This stuff really works!
Using the product for over a year now. Four dogs of different sizes and breeds to include both males and females. No issues. Easy to apply. No side effects. The product has made their lives happy and healthy during the hot summer flea and tick season. Recommend rest in a cool quiet indoor area for twelve hours after application. Your pet can then run and play...even go for a swim. Great Product ...Vet Approved.
Killed the fleas that were on my dog already, but after about 2 weeks he had more on him and I couldn't put anymore product on him until 30 days. If you're not in an area where there are a lot of fleas, this would be fine but not for us. I think I will use it over winter but buy more expensive stuff for the summer.
I've always kept my dogs treated as well as my yard. I purchased 3 boxes of the XL because they were on sale. Used this product on my dog for the first time and a couple of days later he had a vet appointment wellness check and I be darned if he didn't come home with fleas! Now I'm stuck with 3 boxes of useless garbage :(
I bought this flea and tick treatment for my pug a few months ago. We just moved to a heavily wooded area and saw some really great reviews on this so, I decided to try it. Two weeks ago I gave my dog the third treatment and last night I found a tick embedded on her back. I am so disappointed and would not recommend this to anyone.
I had to reapply 10 days early and my dog is still itching. I have one month supply left of my 3 month supply. I have no use for it. switching back to Frontline Plus.
