My hat size is 7 1/4" - 7 3/8", or large, yet this helmet fits perfectly without binding or pressure points. It is stunning that this helmet fits so well and stays so cool for this price. The chin chap is as advertised, so it does not pinch, and adjusts easily. Inner helmet pads are velcroed so you may adjust, though I did not. Pleased that I ordered the white helment for enhanced visibility, yet it is very stylish and I have received complements on its appearance which I find somewhat peculiar receiving comments on a helmet. Lots of vents plenty of air flow. The plastic shell of helmet covering the foam extends below the back neck foam for durablity. Good rear reflectors mounted in strap, and I assume the graphics on the helmet are reflective
Does what it is supposed to do- protect the head. Visor a little flimsy. Liked reflectors built into back of helmet support. Very Basic, no do dads but it works.
I haven't fallen and hit my head, so it's difficult to tell how this helmet stacks up. It is a helmet that meets at least minimal standards and its fits my head and, therefore, it is okay. What I do like about it, though, is that it has lots of vents to help dissipate heat.
