I love earthy scents. Cocoa Woods is not as subtle & flowery as most Nest fragrances, but it lasts and wears nicely throughout the day. I love it.
So many reviews say this scent is perfect for fall and winter but as soon as I smelled it on myself I was deep in the feeling of summer. It reminds me of the summer vacations in Daytona Beach shores and sexy summer nights. The hint of cocoa paired with the wood tones makes for a sophisticated yet sexy scent.
The essence of wood, spices, and chocolate makes this fragrance perfect for autumn days or evenings.
Do you love woodsy scents? How about spicy? Leathery with a hint of tropical night blooming flowers? Slightly on the masculine side of the spectrum? If this is you, then you will probably love this as much as I do. It smells like a quiet night in front of the fireplace in damp, grey, late November with a cup of dark cocoa that's been augmented by a splash of Kahlua.
Chocolate evidently isn't just for cooking. This fragrance has a subtle chocolate scent blended among the deep, woodsy notes. A favorite for autumn, or calorie- free anytime!
Lovely scent that I had tried it my wrist, by evening time, It was a different scent on my skin that was still lovely! Next day went back and bought a bottle. I do believe I have found my new scent!
I'm so sad that this scent is being discontinued. I love perfume, and this is my absolute favorite scent. It is so very unique. I generally wear it in Fall and Winter, because it is cozy and warm. The cocoa note is not overly sweet to my nose and mixed with the ginger, it reminds me of drinking a warm cup of high quality cocoa when I come home and am freezing. I just love this fragrance. I also love that Cocoa Woods is a gourmand type fragrance that hasn't been taken over with vanilla. Those are hard to find.
This scent reminds me of fall. A crisp cold morning, or at night inside with the fireplace on, wrapped in a luxurious throw. It's a strong deep sweet scent. The sweetness from the cocoa wrapped in the wood scent in incredible.
This is such an interesting fragrance! The layers are absolutely gorgeous, and it smells very sophisticated and not at all like food. It starts about as a strong, yet smooth wood, but then blooms into a delicious cocoa- tiare with a hint of ginger, which is warm and sensual, yet not too sweet. The final dry down is a smooth woody note with hints of the faded cocoa. It really stands out from other fragrances, and I think it's really great.
This scent does not go well on my skin. It smells cheap on me, it smells ok on my friend. So I gave it to her.
