This glue works great attaching rubber or plastic to metal or other hard surfaces. Be sure to follow directions though or it will work less than great. This is a good size (1 oz) because it will inevitably dry out once opened.
3m is the best. Only one you can count on , and you don't have to worry about it failing. It's used by the factory, so they don't want re-doing it either.
It has been and is still the best weather stripping cement available in a smaller affordable pricing. I try to always have some on hand. Will buy again.
I used it to clue back the Rubber Weatherstrip of my car door
This is JUST what I needed. The molding to my windshield had started to come off. I was able to remove the entire mold, remove the old seal, wipe the windshield clean and apply. I gave it 2 days to adhere, used painters tape to tape it down for good measure. Voila, like new!
My cars windshield weather strip started coming off while I was driving. Applied it and it dried and fixed it quickly. Still holding on
Seals on my trucks rear side windows had shrunk and did not seal allowing water into the cab. Used rubber conditioner to soften then used 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive on the seals and no more water getting in.
worked good for glueing my dashboard cover back down
It's just a little messy. What it needs is a top that has a small hole so you could put it where you want it without it going everywhere.
Worked so far on door seal. Strong odor and be careful will run out quickly and make a mess if not watching it
