perfect little kit very well pleased
I had a major fail in my portable toilet i keep in my Semi after years of use and i was ready to buy a new one, but i would give this fiberglass hair a try, before spending another 180 dollars on toilet, this stuff is awesome it stopped the leaks and stiffened up the base and i think i will get many more years out of it. You do have to work very fast as it sets up quickly, work in small amounts otherwise it will catch up to you and you will find yourself fighting it
This is interesting material. You need a strong stick or paddle to get it out of the can and for stirring (mixing) it. I was using it to seal some cracks in the floor of my old Livingston fishing boat. It really did the job. Not very pretty but very strong and hard. It bonded to my old fiberglass very well. I also used it to "glue" a wooden battery tray into the bottom of my boat. I made up a batch of it, then painted it on the bottom of the boat about 1/4" thick along where the edges of the battery tray needed to sit and then pressed the tray down upon it. The next day the wooden platform was solidly fixed to the floor of the boat. So far I am pretty happy with this product.
We have used this Product in the Past and have had Good Results from Rapairs.
Wasn't the best price. Worked good.
Very "hairy." Use it for large holes. Won't be any good for smaller uses.
Curbside ordered, no hardner in pkg!
I have used this in the past with good success however the last two cans I bought were unusable due to the product kicking off way too fast. Conditions were ok, shop was cool and product right from the store. After a fast mix I couldn't even get it out of the mixing lid before it was thickening up. I tried an extreme small amount of hardener and still no luck (less then 1/3" hardener for a golf ball size amount). Maybe it's all a bad batch, not sure but beware!!
Please look under the cap for the tube of hardener cream , this is my 3rd can with none . Some one steals them out of the other cans, tape the lids shut? I just bought cream on line and had to wait…another expensive step .
Second shipment also poorly packaged not as bad as first but contents leaked into box
