I tried the Mountain Dew ice lemon lime. When I took my first sip you can taste the lemon lime and it has a good flavor. The flavor is not overpowering yet you could taste the lemon lime with every sip. I will be purchasing this product in the future. I I am a a fan of this product. I already did I'm and I would recommend people try this drink
I received this Mountain Dew ICE Lemon Lime Soda from the Walmart Spark Reviewer Program. I liked it very much. It gives me a nice boost of energy. I like to drink it at first break at work. It tastes really good. I will be buying more of this Mountain Dew ICE. Thanks for reading this review.
We found the Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime Soda, 16 Fluid Ounce Can, 12 Pack to be a significant improvement in flavor over the other versions of Mountain Dew. The zesty Lemon/Lime flavor really hits the spot, refreshes and quenches one's thirst simultaneously. The after taste is very pleasant and delightful. I found the flavor of the Mountain Dew ICE to be significantly superior to other brands of Lemon/Lime carbonated soft drinks that I have tried out over the years. Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime Soda, 16 Fluid Ounce Can, 12 Pack has only 130 calories per can. Fantastic and what more can you ask? My wife and I are not soft drink soda fans, but we found the refreshing flavor of the Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime Soda, 16 Fluid Ounce Can, 12 Pack to be quite likable. We normally do not keep any carbonated soft drinks in the pantry or refrigerator. In the past the only times that we have purchased other brands of carbonated soft drinks has been when our children and grandchildren were visiting our home. The Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime Soda, 16 Fluid Ounce Can, 12 Pack is good enough that we likely will make it our preferred brand. I give the Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime Soda, 16 Fluid Ounce Can, 12 Pack my whole hearted recommendation for anyone wanting a Lemon/Lime flavored soft drink. When I received a Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime Soda for free from the Spark Reviewer program, I wasn't familiar with it. I know I like regular Mountain Dew, so I was interested in trying it. It tastes like a competitor's lemon-lime soft drink, which I also like, but the other one doesn't have caffeine. ICE is caffeinated. ICE has less calories and sugar than regular Mt. Dew. It's clear and doesn't seem as syrupy and has a nice flavor. I like it, but I think I prefer the regular. If you want the clean lemon-lime taste but with a kick, this is for you!
I have drank Mountain Dew for most of my life, so I was appreciative to be given the opportunity to sample the new Mountain Dew ICE. I was hoping this new Mountain Dew would be something different and exciting tasting but unfortunately it is not. When I opened the bright green colored can it had the same recognizable smell as other clear, lemon lime sodas I am used to drinking. The soda is carbonated and fizzy when poured and consumed as one would expect. I drank the cans with and without ice to ensure the ice did not have any affect on the taste of the drink. I also tried the soda with and without eating a meal and snacks to see if it changed my opinion of the product. It is a cold, refreshing beverage when poured into a glass of crushed ice as shown in my submitted photo, but so are other similar sodas available on the market today. What I found a little disappointing is the taste of Mountain Dew ICE is very familiar and unimaginative having almost the exact same taste as every other clear, lemon and lime flavored soda I have ever consumed. This has a hint of diet soda taste though because it contains artificial sweeteners, but this lacks the zero calorie benefit of diet soda. The product also states that it contains one percent juice. As far as nutrition facts, it is 130 calories, 70mg sodium, and 33 grams of carbohydrates per can. The only thing I really see different about the new Mountain Dew ICE is it claims to contain 72mg of caffeine per 16 ounce can. I like this soda and will probably purchase more of it if I want a caffeine boost, but there is really nothing unique in regards to taste compared to similar products that have always been available.
This version of Mountain Dew has a nice taste to it. It has lemon lime with a splash of real juice. The taste reminds me a lot of 7 UP but with caffeine in it. The most noticeable difference in the Mountain Dew ICE is the size of the can. The circumference of of the can is the same as the regular cans. But, it is taller. The reason for this being that this can is 16 ounces instead of the regular 12 ounce cans. The extra 4 ounces make the calories of each can 130. I did notice that the caffeine content was printed under the ingredients. Which was 72 mg/16 fl oz. I do wish that all sodas would list this on their cans. It would be nice to compare.
I have been drinking Mountain Dew since it first entered the market. Maybe this is one of the reasons why I don't really care for the “Ice” version. Oh, it tastes OK, but whatever they have done to make the “ice” come alive, I really don't care for it. The Dew taste is overcome by the “ice” effect and not nearly as taste fulfilling as my regular Dew. Probably there are a lot of people out there who like this new taste, but I for one don't. This new “Ice” version doesn't have the flavor and oomph that regular Mountain Dew does. This version is not as satisfying either. It takes me forever to drink one can in the amount of time that I could drink two regular Dews. There is a saying about building a better mousetrap that comes to mind in regards to this new “ice” version. Please don't change my Mountain Dew to this one. Pepsi did that and I had to quit drinking Pepsi. Just wasn't the same and this Mountain Dew Ice isn't either. Don't mess with the original. Rating: C

I have to start by saying that there really wasn't a whole lot of a selection in this particular selection process. I choose the Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime Soda, 16 Fluid Ounce Can, 12 Pack because I have had the soda before and I actually like it. It has a very interesting taste to it. It almost taste like Sprite, but not exactly. I've had other kinds of Mountain Dew that taste better. The Baja Blast for instance is much more favorable than the Mountain Dew ICE, Lemon Lime soda. Unfortunately, it is only at certain restaurants and then once it was actually available for sale in the stores. My husband and I generally buy some form of Mountain Dew on a regular basis each month. I can not see us buying this on a regular basis. Like I said its good, but it doesn't rank in the other ones that are available for buying in the stores. I would have to have a limited selection or it be on sale for me to actually buy it. I would recommend it to others who like a soda that has a semi taste of Sprite. Other than that it would have to be a no for me.
The only good thing I can say about the Mountain dew lemon lime ice I received from Walmart spark revue is it has a good lemony flavor, 1% juice. Now let's look at what is in this 16 fl oz. soda. sodium 70mg,total carbohydrates 33g,sugar 33g caffeine 72mg / 16 fl oz. Not a significant source of other nutrients. It is flat bubbles gone in seconds and to sweet for me I will not be buying this any time soon.

It has good carbonation but the flavor is rather bland. It has very little taste. The addition of the word Ice to the name doesn't make any sense or add to the appeal. This beverage is very disappointing. I would not purchase it.
