It's a great beginners guitar
I received my Les Paul guitar & amp few weeks ago. I opened everything up and was amazed, but when I played the guitar, was very impressed & shocked with the sound ! I had guitars when I was young, but never had one that played & sounded as well as this one. The amp looks very small, but don't let that fool you, because it puts out loud impeccably sound, that can be made to sound even better, with all the controls it has. I counted 7 knobs + 1- 2 way switch = 9 ways to tune it to your music & likings. Everything was greater than I anticipated it would or even could be. You can beleave me, because I'm just an ordinary shopper, looking for the best bargains & prices on everything, I'm shopping for. This product & everything else, is in my book of GREAT BIG OK"S :) CAN'T GO WRONG ! ..= Happy to the Max :) < Me
Got one of these guitars for Christmas and was very nice!! Has a great loud sound (thanks to the amplifier) and the guitar is build greatly. This guitar is amazing for beginners or for someone who's advanced. Very excellent guitar!
That's what I heard when I took the amp out. I thought something was broken. After removing the 2 screws on the back to open it up, I seen the problem. The fuse came out from the connectors. Just put it back in and everything was fine. Not sure how that happened (shipping?). Other than that, everything was just as described, and even better when you see it in person! Humbuckers rock, amp is plenty loud for home and practice, and jam sessions, would obviously recommend a larger amp for shows. Was already stringed when I opened it up, and amazingly it was practically in tune, that in itself is a feat! Comes with a gig bag, get a hard case and/or a stand. Have had this 2 days and am very satisfied. I still want a Les Paul regular but have "the sound" for now, which is good. This review is for the medium package with the 15 watt amp. Shipping was faster than stated and I got free shipping on this $249 set. Lastly, and this is a little picky, pun intended, but I didn't care for the included picks, I prefer a thicker pick or firmer one. Great guitar for a Great price and would consider other Epiphone guitars in the future.
