box was bit damaged but everything inside was fine all contents in box and each pencil looks in very good condition
As a former Pre-K teacher- these are the only pencils I would use with my students. I only wish that they were in more retail stores!

The Write Start colored pencils were mention on a Pinterest post that I read about journaling with preschoolers. My grandson loves these pencils. The colors are bolder than a regular colored pencil. The size and shape of the pencil are helpful. I wish it came with a sharpener. I think more people would purchase these if they were available in the store rather than ordering them online.
I use these in my daycare. These don't break like crayons. In fact these are impossible to break. They write easy on paper and it's hard to write on walls. These are more expensive than crayons but last much longer so it's worth the extra cash. They also have cute little pictures on them to help learn the colors. I just wish they came with a sharpener.
Thick pencils are so much easier to grasp for little ones learning to hold them properly. These should last for a long time, too!
My 18 month old loves to color and I wanted something that he could hold easily but would hold up to his aggressive scribbling. These did the job!
