I really like this one, I tried a couple others but this flavor is the best, sweet and minty but not over powering. Keeps my teeth white too. No nasty chems.
This toothpaste lacks sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, and seemingly in place of it is a substance called cocoyl glutamic acid, which I have little idea of what it is. I do not know if one is better, or safer than the other. From what I read online, they all seem to be surfactants. This toothpaste has a gentle vanilla-mint flavor, with vanilla that seems to stand-out the most. It is fairly easy to squeeze out the toothpaste onto a toothbrush. From what I read on the ingredient label, there is no fluoride in this, which I like there to be none. And there are goodies like calcium in it, aloe, stevia, peppermint oil, and so on. Cost-wise, better than at the grocery store, and I believe that you get about the same amount of oz. of product as most other brands of toothpaste. Overall, I am happy with this toothpaste. The only thing that I am on the fence with is the cocoyl glutamic acid. If that doesn't bother you, here is a toothpaste to consider.
I really like the taste of this toothpaste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I originally bought this product when in search of a fluoride free toothpaste. I have used this toothpaste for about 4yrs now and my teeth are in great health. My professional cleanings are faster than ever and you only use a pea sized amount to brush with. Very good product!
Works beautifully without harsh abrasives.
Jason is a great brand I love a lot of there products specifically there mouthwash and toothpaste. One of my favorites is there vanilla powerment whitening toothpaste. Great flavor, whitens my teeth, gentle on my gums, and it is fluoride free. It really is a good brand and a good option for toothpaste I recommend giving it a try if you haven't.
When I was younger I used to use a vanilla peppermint toothpaste and loved it so much, but unfortunately they stopped making it. When I found out that Jason made vanilla mint I just had to try it. It's got a pleasant flavor without being too overwhelmingly minty and leaves my teeth feeling clean!
This is the first and only Jason product I've tried that I did not like. I like Jason brand toothpastes because they have fluoride free options and don't include many of the less desirable ingredients that most toothpastes do. With that said, I don't doubt that this is an effective toothpaste but I just couldn't get paste the flavor - it's horrible. I thought vanilla mint would be a nice change from peppermint (the flavor I normally go for) but the taste of this reminds me of a really bad artificially sweetened breath mint.
Perhaps vanilla and mint don't go together as well as I had thought they might. The paste also leaves a taste in my mouth like artificial sugar does. The texture of the paste is fine and it leaves my teeth feeling clean, but I won't buy it again because of the taste. I will try to use the remainder of the tube by adding baking soda to the brush to mask the flavor.
I really wanted to love this toothpaste, and for a minute I did – it was fluoride-free, gentle and the taste was surprisingly good, my only complaint was the fact that it was very dense and sticky, so it was nearly impossible to clean out of the brush head properly. Then after I used maybe a sixth of the tube, I couldn't get any toothpaste out because there was a giant hard clump blocking the opening, so it ended up being a total waste of money, needless to say, never again am I purchasing this toothpaste.
