I have been using Jason Sea Fresh Gel for many years now, and Iespecially appreciate its lack of the weird artificial ingredients in many other toothpaste products, while I reap the benefits for all my gum tissue's health from its COQ10.
I got this toothpaste when I wanted something SLS-free but that still had fluoride. Jason came through! It's natural and doesn't feel too intense when you use it, and it still has the right ingredients to protect your teeth!
Trying to find a not only SLS free but natural toothpaste plus fluride is difficult! Thank goodness for Swansons :). If your one of those people who likes a foamy brushing experiance but cant use sulfates this would be a good toothpaste for you. Personally i dont mind either way but it is nice sometimes to have the bubbles :p. The taste is very nice, it starts off a little strong for me but by the time you get brushing its just a nice fresh mint flavor. Like another reviewr said you dont walk around after feeling like you shewed the mint out of your tea its just a delicate fresh feeling, very clean. I also like the tube. While i appreciate the recyclability of the other kind this one is easier to work with when you have arthritis. Never comes out to fast and its not a literal pain to get out. Overall very enjoyable and iw ill buy again.
Just discovered this toothpaste a couple of years ago. I absolutely love it. Works better than I expected, wish it came in a whitening formula though. Love it! Doesn't contain harmful and toxic chemicals like other toothpaste brands.
This is the best thing since sliced bread. When I received it I was so excited to use it, so i did. My teeth have never felt so clean in all my life. If you are worried about the price, go to the store and see what you would pay for any of the new products by Colgate or Crest, and you will not even see these kind of results.
CoQ10 in a toothpaste - who would ever thought? I read it's supposed to be good for your teeth. I don't see how it does it until I go for my next dental check-up. The taste of the toothpaste is mild. The other Jason Powersmile toothpaste is much more pepperminty. I like the flip-cap and plastic tube design - easier for me to squeeze out the toothpaste and the tube stays in shape.
Despite the slightly soapy taste, I like this toothpaste and would consider ordering it again. Although it is way too early to say if there are positive effects, I actually enjoy brushing with it. The general feeling is light both while brushing and afterward.. I ordered it because of CoQ10 as an ingredient.
I like that this company is sustainable and cruelty free. The price is to be expected for products that are sustainable and cruelty free. However I felt like I had to constantly brush my teeth because the freshness never lasted long enough. If they had one with better longevity, I would definitely give it a try.
After a few weeks of using this my husbands teeth began to get a brownish look to them. So he switched to a different brand and after one brushing the brown coloring was gone. We're thinking this toothpaste must be missing some kind of baking soda type cleaning agent, so the gel was just creating what looked like layers on his teeth that was causing them to look discolored. The taste is also not very good.
