I'm not sure what everyone else is saying about not being able to search the web while talking or text while talking. You can. I do it all the time. When I'm on the phone, I put it on speaker, click the button on the right side of the phone, then scroll over to either the message icon or the internet icon. Both have worked fine for me. This phone takes excellent pictures. My brother and his wife just had a baby and I took awesome pictures to send others. These phone cameras aren't meant to be able to do what a digital camera can do. It's no blackberry but it is a great phone. I have had plenty to know a good one. I usually get a new phone every year and this time I have surpassed that year with this phone. It's too good to give up.
I was out of town, and my phone broke. Reluctantly, I went to At&t for a new one, not wanting a new phone, because I did not want to re-learn how to use a new cell phone. This phone was so easy to use, I've only had it for a week and I've already dropped it 3 times (notice my grace with cell phones?) battery life is good, overall great phone!
love the phone it can actually do more then expected also takes a larger memory card then expected and works fine with 8gig cards texting is very simple and it is also good enough to watch full length movies if formatted right have dropped it many of time and still in good condition and i recommend getting opera mini as a web browser to get full internet use of it no complaints here its a well rounded phone.
I've had this phone for a year and I love it! Its a great phone. Has alot of memory! I have almost 600 pictures, about 15 videos, over 130 ringtones, 24 full songs in my playlist and some extra games.. none of that is saved on my memory card, all on the phone and there is still more room!! It also holds alot of texts for all of you texters!! I've dropped this phone countless times on hard surfaces, wet surfaces and it still is working like a champ! I absolutly LOVE this phone! The one thing I wish I could change about it, is the camera. Its a 1.3 mega pixel and I would prefer a 3 mega pixel, but I've taken some amazing pictures with this phone. The battery life is good, I browse the internet quite a bit and take ALOT of pictures and have never had this phone die on me. I just charge it all night and I'm good for the rest of the day. I would definatly recommend this phone!!
I just bought this phone and so far I really like it. My problem is that I can't find any accessories (swivel holster or leather case)for this device. I was up until 2am looking for accessories online and when I go to the stores they keep telling me that it's too new. How about when you come out with a new phone, make sure the accessories are readily available also.
I've had this phone for about 5 months now, it's been dropped more than it should, only a few scratches, but it still works great. I get on the internet, it does drop the internet, but I think its the area I may be in, not the phones fault. The battery gets hot if you use it while it charges, so I wouldn't recommend doing that til it's done charging. My battery will last 4 days during regular talking and texting. I'm not a teenager, so I don't mean staying on it 24/7. Just for normal adult use this phone is great! Texts fast, (probably not for large fingers) internet is good, great pictures. Overall good phone for the price!! I've had other brands of phones, but Samsung is the best and I keep going back to them. Next, the SAMSUNG ETERNITY. I want really bad, as soon as I get the money.
This is a nice sturdy phone, have dropped it pretty good a couple of times and this phone has sustained no damage even to the outside of the case! works like a pro! Super txting, am not one who is real quick txter until I started using this thing wow!! I can now txt almost like the young punks! Really nice display and zoom feature on pix, camera is easy to navigate and take pix, along with video! A very nice phone so far, only draw back is the weak batt! Am going to try the stronger batt and see how that works.
I now have this phone one month and in the first week I sent it back twice. The battery life stinks . . . . I kept thinking there was something wrong with it. I'm not a big texter, but if I send a few and make a few calls, it leaves me with only one bar. Sometimes I can't even get thru the day w/o battery dying and I'm not always near a power source to plug in. I've never had this issue with a phone b4. So I wouldn't recommend if you text or talk on the phone alot. My kids would no way be able to use this phone, since they text all the time. Love everything else about it, except for the short battery life.
I've had this phone for about a year, and the camera is bad if your outside and such, but when your inside and very still, it's ok. I guess. Ha, the music player is of poor quality, it gets too loud at weird times. The thing I don't like most about it, is that you can't check your texts while your on the phone. you can pretty much forget about multi-tasking. Oh, and your ringtones if they're in mp3 format, can only be less than or equal to 30 seconds, or they go in your music folder if they're longer and you cannot set anything in your music folder as your ringtone. so you can't do much with ringtones. the recording quality on the phone is bad. it's very fuzzy and awful. I'm personally a music freak so when the player is bad and so is the recording, I offically don't like the phone. you can't exactly do much unless you have internet on it too, because now everything is done via SMS message, and if you don't have internet, you can only get MMS messages for media. Overrall , this phone is indestructable. I've dropped it thousands of time and yes it looks like it's been through some battles. but it never breaks. I even text in the shower and use wet hands, and this phone. WILL. NOT. BREAK. ... EVER! so if you need a good sturdy phone to make phonecalls and send a few texts. this is an okay phone, but if your looking for something nifty to show off to your pals, Do not, under any circumstances, GET THIS PHONE. I MEAN IT! :)
1. This phone does not have GPS chip/function. 2. You cannot make phone calls while browsing the web. 3. If one has multiple missed calls, it is impossible, on this phone, to find out from whom they were, other that the last one. 4. Although the screen is pretty large, its resolution is poor. 5. Offers web mobile, instead of having a full fledged web browser. 6. Headset must be purchased separately, which makes the music player function of this phone a joke. 7. USB cable to be used for connecting to a PC must be purchased separately. Hence, its calendar/organizer functions are meaningless. 8. This phone comes with preinstalled, useless applications such as ATT navigator, as well as few others. These applications cannot be deleted or removed. 9. When using its overly minimalistic web browser, the battery lasts for about 1 - 1.5 hours which is ridiculously little. 10. Awful menus and menu organization. In conclusion, this phone is not worth the money. In my opinion this phone is a flop for its designers. As a punishment they should be forced to use this phone as the only mean of communication for one year to see whether they enjoy the experience.
