I upgraded to this phone from a Samsung galaxy charge, one of the first 4g phones. It is amazingly faster and the screen is much easier to see. The decision to stay with the same brand was based on the ease of transfering my existing sd card from the old phone. I like having the ability to expand the memory and have access to the battery, somthing that was not available on tye other phone I was considering. I do miss the HDMI port but that was easily remedied by the purchase of a "smart dock" wich provides for HDMI out as well as 3 usb and 1 audio outputs. Overall performance, expansion and versatility has more than met my expectations. The amount of new things that can be done with this phone is a bit overwhelming but the help files and video tutorials are great
Proud owner of this amazing phone. It does everything and then some that i required in a cellular phone. I went from a very good Galaxy SIII to this back in December and I never looked back. This phone is more like a mini computer in my hands, I can't live without it now.
This is a great phone/tablet. By far the best Samsung product I've ever owned. I was leary of buying a Samsung product again, but this phone is truly amazing. It has a HUGE beautiful screen, even though it's not 1080p :( The features are amazing. I have had the Multi-tab thing since I got the phone on launch (Verizon) but it's pretty useless, because it won't let me change the apps in it yet. :( The phone is surprisingly comfortable in my hand & pocket. It is a bit buggy sometimes though :( I mean with 2gb you would think it would be the smoothest thing around, but sadly that's not the case. Don't get me wrong 98% of the time no issues & very fast smooth running, but for example if you have Flipboard open, then back out & go into Google+ to fast it will freeze the phone for 2-5 seconds, which in all fairness isn't a big deal, but still. If you are in the process of sending a text & you receive one, it will fail yours & you have to resend yours, again, not a big deal, but annoying none the less. Other than that best phone I've ever owed & great battery life! lasts me 18+ hours with heavy use. p.s. I still can't get the Verizon button to work.. ... .... . Lol
It sure is a tablet and phone in one, and by golly, its one heck of a gadget! It's like a smartphone with steroids! First off, its amazingly FAST (mobile network and/or WiFi). The big crystal clear screen will NOT intimidate nor disappoint you. It has several capabilities that I thought would be very pro-user, such as the Data Usage Setting where you can set a notification when reaching your preferred set limit for data, or you can actually set your phone to automatically turn your Mobile Data to OFF once you reach your preferred limit. It also offers multi-tasking, like a breeze. In addition to several gesture and motion commands, is of course, the very reliable and accurate S Pen. Yes, you read it correctly: RELIABLE AND ACCURATE. Plus, call quality, network signal/connectivity, user-friendliness, efficiency, productivity, and all other basic things were not compromised by Samsung in developing this "Super Smartphone". MIND: BLOWN.
I use this phone for everything from social media, to gaming, to talking and texting, to emailing, to shopping & to do lists. I keep track of bills and expences for the month, limit our data usage, which we dont come close to anyways, and even keep a personal journal/diary with pictures from my day. I love the Stylus and S-note, even though I questioned the use I would get out of them at first they are now a primary function for me that I would be lost without. :p I love my Galaxy Note II and will be glad to use this phone for the length of my contract and possibly beyond. :)
I have found this to be an excellent phone. I just got back from spending 3 weeks in Hawaii and i did not miss my tablet at all. The battery lasted most of the plane rides watching movies the whole way. I was able to take excellent pictures and video. The panoramic picture option worked great. I am very happy with my purchase.
I have it with me every day, heck, every moment. I can do everything on this phone. I no longer need to drag my laptop on a trip because I can do everything on my Note II. I am very happy. It is a little expensive, but it is worth the extra to have such a powerful tool. I have never dropped it but I do think it's more durable than it seems. When you take the back cover off it seems very thin but I think it's okay. The display is wonderful. Clear and beautiful colors. I don't haul around a separate camera anymore either. My Note II takes great photos.
great job samsung the camera is awesome the photo editing software is sick! love the display it is beautiful! i use the pen a lot more than i thought i would and even picks up my terrible hand writing. Keep up the great work would love to get the note tab!
I love my galaxy Note II, it offers me so many opportunities to be able to express myself in so many ways. Whether its modifying photos, or drawing free hand with the multi-functional Stylus, I am the kind of individual who likes to keep things flowing while on the go and whether it's making something as basic as a grocery list, or spending a couple of hours developing a new drawing or even creating a calender this device is capable of meeting all my needs and more, Not to mention all the trees I am saving.. The phones Quad core rocks i can use it constantly all day long for 4 days without the battery running below 40 percent is one thing i noticed i love the s note and how you can put a note in the calendar when you make a calender for that day you can add notes to it with s note love the s pen and the guesters love how it can do Multi screen with 2 apps at a time i use that allot i'm a retired phoenix swat officer and i used my phone allot at work and i own a computer tech shop and now since i got back from Afghanistan i use it all the time now i'm a disable veteran and i can go on for paragraphs about this phone so many features just not enough space on this review form i also love the development options and i love how it has over 600 settings in the settings section also love that each setting has its own drop menu of settings but everything works great very fast last for days battery is incredible it works flawless on 100 running apps at a time cant say much more then that
