So I bought the overnight pads tonight i usually buy the other brand but i figure I'd give these a go since i prefer kotex tampons and they were on sale. I bought the absorbency I would normally buy with the other brand. I opened the box took one out thought um ok it's a bit big but that's ok..so I decided to further open the single package , well holy heck the thing is literally the length of my forearm. So when they say 2 x the protection they arent lying. Needless to say they are to big for my tiny body, since I am only 4 foot 7 inch tall and 115 lbs I have coverage now from my tailbone to my belly button lmao. I think I need to buy different absorbency.
only pads that can handle mine and my daughters heavy periods. also the only pad that catches the flow in either direction. no leaks...they are big.. but if you need it you need it.
I recently switched from using Always pads to U by Kotex after seeing a twitter post that made me realize that Always pads cause a burning sensation every time I use them. I'm very happy I made the switch, except I wish the overnight pads were just a little longer. They're quite a bit shorter than the extra heavy ones (see picture). I've ended up having to use the extra heavy overnight ones for both for the first few days when my period is the heaviest, and for the next few when it's lighter because the overnight ones just don't provide enough coverage in the back.
The product is thin and absorbs fine but the outer layer (which feels fine against skin) is flimsy and tore vertically during the night. Great bargain still.
While I like the product for nighttime use, I hate the wings. Wings get stuck on the underside of the underpants and is hard to get off. So, what I do when I get the box, I take each pad out and cut the wings off!
I like the Big pak more , the new one I don't like it , feels like the material not good as before, very Disappointed.
I have been a Kotex girl for a long time and for the last year the wings have been ripping and sticking to my underwear! I'm sick of it! In the photo attached the right side came off but the left side is like superglue! It doesn't come off in the wash either!
I got the stage 3 and 4 and both are very thin was glad i got the bigger box cause i had to wear 2 pads during the day and 3 pads at at night and they didnt stay on place very well of it wasnt for the wings they would have came off my cotton under wear
Have heavy flow that will suddenly “flood” in such a way it feels like I'm peeing. These pads used to save my clothes…until today. Flow started this morning, I'm using a new box and I've had to change my underwear 3 times already! The flood is not being absorbed at all, it's rolling right off the pad…up and out the back and front! The pad is not sticking in place and one folded in the back. What did kotex change and WHY?? I went back to make sure it's Kotex and not a knockoff look-alike I accidentally picked up—it's the genuine article. I'm relieved I'm at home! If I were out and about I'd have to return home to change & wash clothes. At this point I'd be better off with grandma's towels & belts to absorb menses flow. Kotex, PLEASE go back to original product!!
during this whole pandemic it's been hard to find my GO TO pad , seen these in my asile and thought I'd give them a try . LET ME TELL YOU , they suck .they move side to side making it uncomfortable! (And yes I got the right size) I get so paranoid they don't give me the security other name brand pads do . I honestly wouldn't buy ever again . Save your money . Stick to ALWAYS .
