Helps reveal seating discomfort when your chairs pad is worn.
Nice cushion with ties to fasten to wheelchair. DME dealer recommended get cushion for all day sitting. Vinyl/gray bottom & nylon/navy top -- covered with towels to absorb any "accidents". Walmart price & shipping was the best on the web! This is the correct review for this cushion -- sorry, but confused it with other Gel E cushion that was ordered at same time!
I purchased this Gel-U-Seat cushion to aid in the recovery from my Hemorrhoidectomy. It has been great. Once I returned to work, I used it in my office chair. Problem is that there are no tie straps built in the center of the pad to hold it in place. If the chair has no posts on the side to tie to, the pad keeps sliding.
I've had this for 3 months....was comfortable. Until I noticed something dried up in back of my leg....like dried glue. Later found out the gel burst out of the foam inside and seeped out of the seems of the cover like toothpaste. Not happy I paid so much for this.
