This was my first time buying this brand. Thus far, I must say that I am fairly impressed. Works well, cleans well and holds a really good charge. It is a little bigger in size than I imagined, but that is a minor detail. Overall, good.
This razor is really comfortable! I have used just about every type of electric razor made and they all either pinch, pull, or don't give a close shave. Once my face got used to this new razor the difference was like night and day. A close shave with no irritation was exactly what I got. I love it and would gladly recommend it to anyone!
Just another example of the legacy of Braun's quality products. This is my second shaver, having bought one 6 years ago (things wear out , ya know). The original still works, but needs a little finesse. This new shaver's clear plastic cover for the foil could use a redesign for a more positive "snap on" feel. As it is, the cover too easily pops off when not desired. It's a great shaver, but I think the price should be lower. Yes, I realize they're great items, but about $150 does hurt a bit. Hopefully, this one will last longer than my original.
Razor cleaning function did not work when it was deleivered to me, out of the box. Braun wanted me to send it in for repair, my expense. They were very unhelpful. Local Walmart was very easy to deal with, let me return it to them and I bought another one. I will never deal with Braun direct, they don't care about customer service. Walmart was great to deal with.
