No separate daily cleaner is required. Conditions: This solution adjusts to your eye's natural tear pH to enhance the wettability and comfort of rigid gas permeable contact lenses upon insertion. This formula is designed to provide a soothing effect during lens wear. Disinfects: Contains antimicrobial agents which destroy harmful microorganisms (germs) commonly found on the surfaces of lenses. Opti-Free GP Multi-Purpose Solution may also be used as a diluent for Opti-Free Supraclens daily protein remover for simultaneous enzymatic cleaning during conditioning. Steps for Proper Disinfection: In order to provide appropriate care for your lenses the following steps must be completed each time you remove your lenses. Do not skip any steps. Step 1 Cleaning: Rub both sides of your lenses with Opti-Free GP Multi-Purpose Solution. Be sure to clean each side of the lens. Step 2 Rinsing: Thoroughly rinse with Opti-Free GP Multi-Purpose Solution or another rinsing solution as recommended by your eye care practitioner. Step 3 Conditioning & Storage: Place each lens in the correct side of the lens storage case, then fill each chamber with fresh Opti-Free GP Multi-Purpose Solution completely covering the lenses. Close the case tightly. Store the lenses in the solution for at least four hours prior to wearing your lenses. Before Wearing: Place lenses directly on eyes from the solution or place a few drops of Opti-Free GP Multi-Purpose Solution on the lens for extra cushioning. See package insert for instructions for use and important safety information. Store at room temperature. Avoid excessive heat. Always follow your eye care professional's instruction. Your eye care professional may recommend additional products or procedures to care for your lenses based upon your individual tear chemistry and lens wearing schedule. Do not change the directions for care of your lenses without consulting your eye care professional. Use before the expiration date marked on the container and carton. Keep out of the reach of children. If you are allergic to any ingredients in this product, do not use. Do not use Opti-Free GP Multi-Purpose Solution with soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses.
