After falling on an oyster shell while wadefishing, I had a deep gash on my shin. I bought these to cover the wound and at first I was skeptical because the material didn't look like typical bandages I was used to seeing. Once I had worn it for a period of time, I realized it really is a great product and I will definitely buy it again for future injuries (not that I want any more). It did not stick to my wound. Yay! It also wicked wound fluids into the center of the bandage, meaning there was no yucky layer of wound juice on the bandage. It is light and comfortable and I hardly noticed it was there. My wound is healing great!
GREAT FOR DIABETIC WOUNDS THAT NEED SMALL PADS THAT DO NOT STICK TO THE TREATED WOUND. THEY COULD BE A LITTLE THICKER, THOUGH. and, THEY ARE MUCH BETTER QUALITY-WISE THAN THE CURAD PRODUCTS
I have tried many other brands but keep coming back to this one. They don't make me break out and are truly non-stick but not stiff like other brands.
The strips do an amazing job on large cuts that would other wise need stiching. My mother is elderly and tends to cut herself often by falling or just bumping into things. Her skin if very thin and the last time I took her to the hospital because it looked bad on her arm they just cleaned the wound and put a few of these strips on and wraped it in gauze. Amazingly it healed up very well, did I mention she is 90, great product.
