Our 360-degree countersunk "PTR" Poly Tech Rim replicates the realism of an actual snare drum rim by providing excellent impact strength and volume for practicing rim shots and cross stick patterns. The pad base is a CNC milled 12"x 5/8" Baltic Birch design providing excellent durability from bumps or drops, a solid feel and true dynamic pitch when played from center to the edge of the pad. A non slip ring surrounds the bottom of the pad for practicing on flat surfaces, your lap, or on top of a snare drum. "TSR" Tripod Stand Receivers technology consists of three notches located on the bottom side of the base which conceal snare stand tripod arms underneath and out of your way. "TSR" allows the pad to resonate freely and eliminates any "playing into the stand" feel.
