I really enjoy playing this game. Before I received it, I did not think I would ever get the hang of "Guitar Hero". However, I was wrong! I really caught on quickly, although I'm still at medium level. I wasn't sure if I'd like this because I only knew a handful of songs. Now, I enjoy playing a lot of the ones I previously did not know!
Guitar Hero World Tour is by far the best Guitar Hero game made! its fun, has great songs, better graphics, more songs and you can create your own songs, people and 4 people can play at once if you get the microphone & drums which are sold as a kit or seperatley. I highly recommend this game!
i like that on this game you can download more and more content which is the first time for the wii.. I have played over twenty something songs and i am only 16% done so you can Keep rockin and rollin all night long!!!! Plus the new guitar has the slider keys so it adds more to the game then the standard white wii guitar........
A lot of people go around asking which is better rock band 2 or guitar hero world tour and here is a basic breakdown of the two games guitar hero's guitar is in my opinion a way better buy than rock band's guitar because people play rock band all use is their guitar hero guitar because it's a lot more comfortable and when compare drum sets you get a more realistic drum experience with ghwt's drum set and you only come close to that with rock band's drum set when you buy the optional cymbals to go with it So Here It Is Guitar Gameplay 5/5 Drum Gameplay 5/5 Vocal Gameplay 4/5 overall good game you could play for hours on end great online features and fun with it.
Bought for son's 11th bday. He loves it. Great purchase.
The Guitar Hero World Tour is a good way to get people interacting with one another and is very enjoyable. It is even fun to let the kids try it and even through it is hard for them they enjoyed it as much as the adults. I agree with the teen rating, but with parential supervision younger children can enjoy it too. Great for the family.
I love this product. i have beat most songs on easy a a few on medium. I like the fact you can make you own rocker. You can also open up a few behinde the seen movies. wich is way cool!!!
This Guitar Hero game is great. The guitar is well made and should withstand normal use for several years. The only gripe I have, and this may be because I'm a newbie at video games, is that not all of the songs listed on the box are available unless you get to a certain level of play in the game, and then the additional songs are apparently unlockable. I heard from a friend that there is a "cheat" that allows you to unlock them sooner, but there is nothing in the owner's manual for the guitar or the software that tells you why the complete song list is not initially visible in the playlist.
Any child I have seen play this game loves it!!! We have had some issues with guitars, but they love the game. Although I am not thrilled with the graphics of the band members and venues they play in. It is still a fun game for the family!!
No issues with the game itself. Rock on! But...the construction of the drums is poor. The pedistal that the cymbols attach to were broken out of the box and the cymbols just flop around on the drum base. This is expected given the principles of leverage. The cymbol support is a long metal lever with a heavy weight (the cymbol) at the end supported by a small plasic piece at the base. It won't take much to break this over and over again if Activision chooses to replace the part. Also, the flip up holder for the drum sticks broke off the first time I lifted it up. This game came out 4 days ago and already the Activision web site has posts regarding broken parts. Good luck getting the store you purchased from having an extra game box to exchange for. Beware the drums! I am waiting for a response from Activision on how they will handle this. Contacting them is only possible through the website and not user friendly. To make getting warranty support harder, you can't register the product! (At least the Wii version). The Activision registration web site does not recognize the UPC code for this game yet. I would wait to see how Activision handles this design problem before buying unless you are okay with paying $200 for an item that is almost guaranteed to break.
