i was a little concerned when i read the reviews others left about low quality, but i personally haven't found a problem. of course, i bought this for myself, not a six-year old. i am happy to note that my three-year old who can unlock almost any childproofing tool i throw at him is unable to open the case and get into things. so basically, if you WANT your child to be able to open the case, this is probably not a good pick for you, but if you're buying this for an adult, it's just fine.
THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT. IT HOLDS THE DS AND SIX GAME. MY DAUGHTER HAS A BIGGER CASE BUT WHEN YOU ARE GOING SOME WHERE THIS IS A GREAT CASE TO TAKE JUST WANT YOU NEED FOR THE DAY. IT WILL FIT INSIDE OF HER BIGGER CASE TO GIVE THE DS EXTRA PROTECTION. IT ALSO REMINDES HER OF A COMPACT MAKE-UP CASE WHICH MAKES HER FEEL GROWN UP.
This is a very solid case with a full rubber interior. The DS fits snug into the bottom without being hard to put in or take out. The games and extra stylus are just held in place by pressure, so they sort of "push" into place and are also easy to remove. For the price I don't think you could find a more durable and useful case for a DS. Holds 6 DS games, stylus and of course the DS itself.
helps my daughter to keep up with the games since they are so small. she just got the ds with three games. this case allows her to keep up with them always! she also got a wonderful leather case, but there was no storage place for the games, so we use this one instead.
I purchased my DS bundled with a great accessory kit. The case that I got holds everything, but it's too big to haul everywhere I go. I use that one for storage and travel. I've had my DS for about three weeks and I found myself so hooked on it that I've been carrying it in my handbag. THIS case is perfect for that purpose. It's not much larger than the DS itself, but it holds the DS, an extra stylus, and six games. I just pack it up and throw it in my bag so I can play anywhere and I don't have to worry about scratching my DS with all the other stuff in the bottom of my bag. Plus, it shuts up nice and tight so I don't worry about dust getting in to ruin the DS or my games.
my kids loved this case for the DS! i like that it also stores up to 7 games (with one in the DS). it would have been nice if it came in other colors so the girls could determine whose was whose without opening it up and checking the games.....great product with a great price!
I bought this case for my ds and I love it, the color matches my ds, it holds 6 games, the ds and an extra stylus very securily. As for the previous poster who said her children could not open the case my 6 year old can open my just fine with no help.
I gave this DS case to my sister for Christmas and she loved it. She uses it everyday.
Holds all thats needed for playing a charged ds. (game system,6 games, and stylus) This protects your ds from normal wear and tear damage. This is not a travel kit and is not big enough to carry the charger and additional accessories. But it satisfied my daughter's need to have a "pink" ds (since i got her the gold Zelda bundle- better game)
It is nice to fit the Nintendo DS, and six games, yet, it is kind of heavy to carry around for a long trip. It works well overall. Pay close attention to open the lid to avoid pinch in the fingers, because the back of the box has a gap that little fingers can accidentally get hurted.
