This a very good product. I brought this product to use in my apartment that constantly smelled like smoke from my neighbors. I am now breathing fresh air. It is a miracle worker!!!!
Just got this today in store. Already after being on for maybe 2 hours I can tell the air is so much better! Its not as stuffy in here. I have a Chinchilla that lives in the room as the purifier and the smell is gone, the smell from food cooking downstairs is gone...just a really great product! I have it on high right now and it is loud but so much as say a small fan. Def will turn it to med for bed time. I recommend this its great for the money!
I have cycled through many air purifiers in the past but I must give this one 2 thumbs up! After running it in my office for the first 2-3 hours, I could immediately sense the change. My office is about 10 x 13 and I believe the item may be rated for just a little less however, it still does the job! I would recommend this air purifier to anyone that needs better quality air.
I cannot say enough about this product!! I use it in my bedroom, which is larger than what the product recommends, and it still works extremely well!! I am disabled and about 80% bed-ridden, so obviously, I am in my bedroom more than a "normal" person would be. I also smoke alot. This product has made such a HUGE difference in my bedroom, it's UNBELIEVABLE!! There is far less dust, much less cat hair--my cat practically "lives" in the BR w/ me. There is also virtually NO SMOKE SMELL in my room anymore, which is so incredibly nice!! I wish that they made a "larger" model, for more square footage, as I am purchasing a larger one for my living room/kitchen area, and I am going to have to purchase another kind. I can only "hope" that it will make me as happy as this one has!!
Excellent product! I've invested in many air purifiers along my road and, for a compact unit, it has outperformed many of the more expensive. I get good life span out of the filters and, it is rather quiet compared to larger units. Here is a tip: check your air filter by placing a flashlight under it. If you can see the light on the opposite side, there is still life in your filter. This can save lots of cost in the future! Don't toss away potentially good filters! I have had this unit now for over a year and, I am just in the process of changing my second filter. Good luck and I hope this helps!
Unit is pretty good. A little larger (bulkier) than what i thought it would be. Reasonably quiet when operating on max...can sleep with medium. Side by side the Holmes HEPA Air Purifier (HAP240) seems to have a far higher air output than this model. The HAP240 is a little louder due to increased airflow; two of the three HAP240 units I tested (bought 2 HAP240) had a slight whistle when on max speed. Whistle can be mitigated/'reduced/eliminated by operating at a lower speed and or replacing the filter with a thinner filter. Just got both so we'll see how they hold up.
I bought this product cause I love my dog and I thought my medication was handling it but he can get so dusty from playing that I couldn't have him running through my room with out a sneezefest. I had recenty moved in and the room had so much dust swirling around all day long. I bought the purifier and left it running while I went out to the store to test it out. When I got home about a half hour later I couldn't see a speck of dust swirling in the sun beams. I instantly felt better and my dog can be in the room with me and I barely have a problem, unless it's bath time! I sleep better and i can spend more time in my room since it's my coziest place to work. I definately will be getting a new one to have at work.
This product was purchased to help eliminate cigar smoke from the air. The product does take awhile to totally eliminate the cigar smoke. Overall, I am pleased with the product and would recommend this for use in the home.
Haven't had any problems at all. It helps me keep my bedroom free of dust to a point where I don't dust as much as I did before I got the purifier. I breathe better when I sleep so I don't wake up with my nose and ears so congested like I did before. This product is not bad for the price you pay so you get what you pay for. I hope this helps.
The product operates satisfactorily so far but my Walmart and Walmart online do not stock the replacement filter. When I went to the manufacturers link I found out that the replacement filter is nearly $20.00. That is over half of the price of the product I bought. This makes it a very poor value overall if I have to buy replacement filters at that price.
