I've used McCormick Hot Shot for years. It's the perfect blend of red and black pepper! Spicy but not so much that it burns your tongue or roof of your mouth. And the flavor is delicious.
I use it all the time to season any type of meat and in my veggies as well.
Order promptly arrived as promised.
Even my hubby prefers Hot Shot over regular pepper. We use in/on almost everything! Tasty, very little heat
I went into mild panic when my local supermarket stopped stocking Hot Shot. The McCormick customer service rep I talked to directed me to Walmart where I was able to order a supply for myself and my extended family. For someone who is attempting to lower sodium intake this provides just the right "spice" if you will to many foods.
Spicy but not to hot. Use it on salads, melon, at the table some examples.
Has all the pepper punch you are seeking, a really good product!
I don't have an instant pot or slow cooker, so I made it in a dutch oven, using slow cooker instructions, for 4 hours at 250 degrees. Turned out great. Will make again.
This pepper mix has good flavor and just the right amount of heat to spice up whatever food you're eating. I use it in place of, or in addition to, regular black pepper.
