For whatever reason this particular product of the Perfect Pinch series of McCormick products has gone missing from the shelves of many local grocers for the last several years. I am at a loss as to why it seems to have fallen from favor and is more often than not no longer being included with McCormicks other Perfect Pinch Chicken seasonings. The Original Chicken Seasoning is the best blended seasoning I have ever used. It is just right for so many dishes in addition to chicken. I use it with home fried potatoes, potato salad, deviled eggs, and as an ingredient in my fried fish batter. If this product is not destined to return to wide spread placement in local grocery stores, please advise me ASAP how I may purchase it on line...
This was an excellent product - but McCormick completely reformulated it, keeping the "original chicken" name. HOW can you reformulate a product & still call it original???? If you happen to find a bottle that doesn't say "Perfect Pinch" on it GRAB IT - it is great. The "Perfect Pinch" version is terrible. The old and new versions have the same UPC code, so this new horrible version is meant to be a replacement, not a new additional product.
