White chicken chili is one of my favorite dishes but I can never find a recipe I love. This seasoning packet was perfect! Great balance of the seasonings. Nothing too strong but it wasn't plain or bland either. Plus super easy directions that anyone can follow…novice cook to expert! Got a great meal on the table for my family in a short amount of time.
Overall, I really like this. It made a great chicken chili. However, it not being labeled mild hot or medium I didn't expect there to be a space level. It definitely had a kick. Nothing crazy but I have a kid. That will not eat anything spicy. And this was far beyond their level. I've already bought it again. But I made sure I bought something else for those who don't like the spice. I also feel you need to add a lot more than it says on the directions on the back, like extra veggies. Really good though
This seasoning packet was absolutely perfect. I used it with boneless skinless chicken thighs and it seasoned the chili to perfection. I added a few cans of green chiles and a mexican beer, along with the cannellini beans and threw in some masa to thicken. We served it with chips, cheese, chopped cilantro, and pickled jalapeños and my family absolutely loved it. Great flavor, and a great starting point for a truly great meal.
The McCormick White Chicken Chili seasoning mix has a fantastic flavor and is really easy to make. It helps give it that "low and slow" taste without taking all that time. I love that McCormick makes it easy for me to get a labor intensive food done quickly but well.
Honestly when I first received this I wasn't sure of how it would taste. But let me tell you it was great! I received this product for free in exchange for my review! I added the seasoning packet onto some shredded chicken and it was delicious. It makes for yummy chicken tacos! The packing is great, looks appealing and super easy to open up. I will be purchasing these to have them handy.
First time trying the McCormick's white chicken chili seasoning. It's the perfect amount of spice to flavor the meal. I followed the directions on the packet and cooked cut up chicken breast and added the packet of seasoning. We decided to make it more of a soup chili and added chicken stock, salsa, and cannellini beans. The whole family loved it! Will definitely make this meal again!
I made this white chicken chili today. I usually make everything from scratch, so wasn't very optimistic. We were very surprised! This was well seasoned and flavorful; didn't need to add any extra seasoning. I did use leftover turkey instead of cooking chicken breasts and chicken broth in place of water. Also added 2 slices cooked bacon, cuz, ya know, bacon. Did everything in a saucepan. Chili was thick and tasty. Great for a quick lunch on a rainy day. Went well with a grilled cheese sandwich.
I'm going to start off by saying we did not use diced skinless chicken because that's not chilli. Chilli is ground meat. My wife wife made this meal as she usually does. She like the package because it was very easy to open. No scissors needed. You know the package is McCormick right off the bat. Onto the meal itself. It was good with the ground chicken, has a little it of a bite too it but nothing else stands out. We feel it needs a little bit more flavor, maybe some salt and a pepper or onion flavor to it. The meal was very quick to make, that was very appealing. It takes about 20 minutes from start to plating to make. All in all it is a decent seasoning packet, we would add some of our own flavoring to the finished product.
I received this product for free in exchange for my review. McCormick Chili Seasoning is good for a small batch of chili, with limited ingredients. Though there are suggested add-ins, I don't feel that it was enough. I had to add more seasonings and more ingredients.
I received a packet of McCormick White Chicken Chili from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest opinion. I enjoy eating chili in the cooler times of the year as it goes hand in hand to me, cold weather and warm chili equals a warm me! I prepared the White Chicken Chili exactly as described on the back of the packet. I heated the oil in my skillet then added the chicken and cooked it until the chicken was no longer pink, about 5 minutes. I then added the seasoning, water and white beans and stirred them. I brought them to a boil, covered it with a lid and reduced the heat to simmer for about 10 minutes. It was an easy, simple meal for my family. I did not like the White Chicken Chili, however, my husband and his mom absolutely loved it and want me to make it again! I would recommend this product because McCormick did make great products in which I incorporate into my meal plans often, this one just wasn't my favorite but it was a bit with my family!
