GOOD AND FAST GRAVY. GOOD FLAVOR.
taste great and easy to make
This gravy is the best. I grew up with farm raised chickens. The gravy my mom made from those fresh chickens was marvelous. I now buy my chickens at the store. Needless to say they aren't farm fresh and the gravy isn't the best. I decided to try this gravy and WOW it's just like the gravy my mom made. I'm hooked and will be using this forever.
I keep them in my pantry!! Tastes great and quick to make
Absolutely delicious and no lumps! No matter how many times I have made this super simple to make gravy, it always comes out great! I am an awful cook and absolutely do not enjoy cooking, so when I find a simple item that has 100% success, I am a lifetime customer!
I like this gravy very much. All the flavors are great. I figured something out to make this gravy cook faster. Instead of cooking it in a little 2 cup pot/pan, I cook it in a wider 6 cup pot/ pan, so it cooks faster because the water isn't as deep then. I always only use 3/4 cup of water in lieu of the 1 cup it calls for in the directions. You can always add more water but you can't take it away. I like thick gravy, not runny and thin.
I have never liked canned gravy so I have tried different mixes with varying success. I much prefer everything about this mix compared to some store brands. I like that I can reheat some of this after using some at another meal and it still has a smooth texture
Very little flavor. I was hoping woth it being McCormick that it would be full of flavor, it wasn't. O have tried other gravies with much better flavor. I wouldn't buy this again. I would recommend this either. I really don't have much to say about this flavorless gravy.
I'm sure the product is good. However, this is about the 3rd or 4th order where the contents of the box were destroyed due to poor packing in the box. The boxes came intact, so Fedex is not to blame. Walmart's return policy requires you to mail or go to a store to return. How can one mail broken glass with red sauce all over the contents of the box? I live many hours drive from a Walmart, so driving there is not worth my time. I've tried the refund process several times and just get an automated response. No one bothers to read the comments in my refund request: broken glass, red sauce everywhere, dented or compromised cans. And this time busted bags of flour and a flour filled box. So, I decided to just give horrible reviews until Walmart decides to fix this problem. Maybe someone somewhere at Walmart will read this and fix the problem IN THE WAREHOUSE and IDENTIFY the PACKERS who throw things in a box with no care for quality. I tried rinsing the flour off these packets, which ruined the packets. Dumb idea I know. Then I dried them off and put them in ziplock bags and into the freezer. What a complete mess. Any ideas out there? Tired of getting ruined product with no refund or return ability. Otherwise, I like using Walmart's online process WHEN IT WORKS. HIT OR MISS.
Don't presume you're getting a Walmart item. I've never seen anyplace that sells small packet of gravy for the price of a family pack.
