McCormick Burrito Seasoning Mix is one of my favorites! I keep this on hand at all times and use it in numerous dishes. This mix has NO MSG, No artificial flavors and made with all natural spices. The basic recipe is quick and easy to use. All you need is 1 pkg of this seasoning mix, 1lb ground beef, ground chuck, or ground turkey, 1 cup water, 1 can (16 oz) refried beans or pinto beans, and flour tortillas. Brown meat in large skillet and drain fat. Stir in seasoning mix, water, and beans. Bring to a boil and simmer about 10 minutes stirring occasionally. Spoon onto tortillas with all the fixin's you prefer. I use this seasoning in many Mexican dishes as my basic spice. It is good in Taco Salad, Refried Beans, Mexican Casseroles or Mexican Dip. There is a good recipe for Chicken and Bean Burritos on the package that I would recommend. I also suggest visiting www.mccormick.com for other great recipes using their seasoning mix.
Well I'm in love with McCormick's seasoning mixes. All of the seasonings needed in one pouch. I also like the suggestions on the package. When I tried the Burrito seasoning mix I also tried the suggestion on the back of the pouch. I made the chicken and bean burritos. Just delicious and less fat than with beef. Tasted great and was super easy to do. If your looking for ideas for dinner, you can't beat the combo of great taste, ease of use and the overall convenience of McCormick's seasoning mixes. If you like burritos (and who doesn't?) you'll love this mix.
I love his seasoning and cant find it anywhere I wish Walmart you could order a lot more and keep that on hand cuz its perfect for burrito night!! Delicious, perfect burrito meat every time!!
McCormick Burrito seasoning mix taste good and it is very easy to prepare. All you need is pound of hamburger meat some refried or pinto beans if you like with some tortillas and whatever toppings you like, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos. It was easy to make, you just need to brown some hamburger meat in a skillet on the stove and drain, add in the seasoning mix and some water and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Then you can get all of your toppings ready and have everybody start filling their tortillas. It has a good flavor and goes good with the McCormick Hot Taco seasoning. You can't go wrong for a quick meal for the family.
I received my McCormick Burrito seasoning mix free through the Walmart Sparks Reviewer Program. I use a lot of McCormick seasonings, but hadn't tried the Burrito mix. It calls for a package of the Burrito seasoning mix, one pound of lean ground beef or turkey, a cup of water, one can of refried or pinto beans and 8 flour tortillas, 8 inch size. Brown the meat and drain off any fat. Stir in the seasoning mix, water and beans. Bring to boil, then simmer 5-10 minutes or till most of the liquid is absorbed. Serve on tortillas. I made as directed, but it had quite a bit of liquid. I think I would cut the water down to 3/4 of a cup. However, it was a bit thicker the next day. I served them with lettuce, cheese and sour cream. Chopped tomatoes would also be good and anything else your family likes. Very tasty, not too spicy and a very quick meal. Pick one up on your next shopping trip and give it a try. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Mexican: Seasoning Mix Burrito, 1.62 oz Fabulous taste. Packing good for 2-3 burrito's at one time. This is one of the best burrito mix that can be bought on the retail market by a regular customer. I tried different burrito mixes and McCormick never disappoints. No more hunting down the isle and find the packets each time. It adds just the right amount of flavor. It has bold flavor, just flavorful.

I am a big fan of McCormick spice packs due to the fact I am single and they are easy to make, tasty, and always leave leftovers for the next day. Here is an honest review of the burrito spice pack that I had never tried. Like always the instructions were simple to follow which Is a major plus in my book. My normal burrito consists of heated refried beans, a flour tortilla, and some salsa which was always dry and had very little taste. Once I followed the instructions and added the spice pack, refried beans, water, and beef I couldn't believe the difference. Not only was it better than my usual (of coarse) but It was better than most frozen burritos taste wise and also you didnt have to deal with an over cooked flour tortilla. I am definitely going to switch this to my normal burrito.
The Burrito Mix sounded interesting, so I decided to try it. I completed this dish using turkey which I had freshly ground in my food processor. The preparation instructions were very simple and quick to complete. I followed the directions very carefully. The only necessary change was that it had to be simmered a bit longer than described, in order to reach the correct consistency. Once finished, it looked like anticipated and smelled really good. I took this dish to a family gathering, along with the usual condiments. It was very well received. I really enjoyed the portion that I ate, and would certainly use this mix again in the future.
For years I have purchased only another famous brand of burrito mix. My family enjoyed it...no complaints. I decided to try the McCormick s Mexican Seasoning mix for a change. I cooked up the beef, and added the mix with 1 cup of water, very easy to make. I heated up the tortillas and shredded some cheese and whipped up some avocado to put inside. The flavor was definitely different than the other brand. The other brand has a more sweet flavor. The McCormick s had more of a natural Mexican flavor. The spices seem to give the flavor a more robust taste. I really liked this burrito mix better. Doesn't have that imitation Mexican flavor as the other brand. If you don't have the time to chop all the peppers, tomatoes, onions, and mix all the seasonings, this is a great option. Great for those quick meals for a busy family. It tasted great with the avocado and cheese inside. It made 6 hefty burritos. We tried it...liked it...land are switching!
