Bought on Friday, cut open Monday. bottom half was rotten and unusable. was able to use maybe a cup. This is the second time within a month this has happened. Will not be putchasing again. very disappointed.
Nice pineapple but GREEEN. I sure hope it ripens to where I can eat it before going sour like the last one that was too green did. There is just no good excuse for this. A pineapple should be turning golden, have center leaves that pull out easily, and smell like pineapple especially on the bottom. It will have a little more give when squeezed than the “rock” that it is when green.
I order groceries from Walmart to save time, and my delivery driver was fine, but this pineapple is obviously not fresh and new. It has been in their store for some time as it has had time to reach the last possible moment before being considered rotten. Walmart obviously pushes their old produce on the grocery delivery department so they can get rid of it, hoping you won't be upset enough to do something about it. It's blatant disregard for customer satisfaction.
Pineapple was rotten when I cut it open. I even cut down through multiple layers thinking it was just the first few layers. But it was all the way through.
Unfortunately my pineapple is soft at the bottom, definitely would not have purchased if I would’ve picked it myself. It is literally wet and sticky, so mushy that I can’t believe a Walmart associate would send this out.. you can even tell by the top it’s not a happy pineapple.
I can't believe you would even let this pineapple leave your store!!!It is disgusting!! I can tell it's bad and so dry just by the outside of it!! I learned my lesson, will not buy anymore!!!!!!
Over ripe, dried leaves, squishy, should never have been picked by grocery picker or sold as quality produce by Walmart. I would have never chosen this pineapple if I was in the store, nor would anyone else.
the Walmart delivery sent me a bad pineapple, it cannot used, I don't know why the send a bad pineapple to me ,when I cut the pineapple, there is a ridiculous smell come towards my nose
I came home and started unpacking and saw this. I called and asked if I could get a refund. The lady on the phone said yes throw it out and we will refund your money. I get to the store and they say they never charged me but they did and now I have to throw away food I bought. I refuse to get another one as the cantaloupe I got at home was just as bad. I could imagine that this how they treat there customers.
My love of pineapples is almost legendary and when I saw your price and size offer my anticipation leveled up ten-fold! However, instead of the juicy, sweet, ripe fruit of my dreams, I received a disgustingly soft, rotting pineapple imposter. I won't even mention the smell. (but yeah, smelly) Nothing could be salvaged. The disappointment is something I still struggle with. Does Walmart offer 'group sessions' to disappointed customers who actually purchase real food and get garbage instead, because I'm seriously thinking about going into pineapple recovery therapy. This hurts. And at a dollar and ninety-eight cents, what do you think? This is so bad you have to laugh.
