Curbside orders are normally good, with minimal errors. This curbside pickup I was surprised to put away this batch of inedible strawberries. Clearly the staff thought this punishment for my sin of not going into the store myself, but I'd be amazed to see any of them actually eat any of these rotten berries like they expected me to. $3 is a small price to pay for convenience, but I was frustrated enough to write a review 🤷♀️
You picked a really bad basket of strawberries I got to throw most of these strawberries away because they no good they riding I got to pick out a few of them and all good and just go ahead and chop them and freeze them cuz they don't look like they fresh
Was a click list item and most of the strawberries were near rotten or rotten. Very disappointing but not surprising bc click list produce is usually going bad. I selected to return the strawberries and Walmart expects me to take them back to them. The problem is Walmart is 45 minutes away and those strawberries are already rotting. I think it is unreasonable to ask for a return of rotten produce.
I was buying these to make chocolate covered strawberry for my mom on mothers day and I open the packet of strawberries and they literally have mold on them.
The strawberries had mold on them I had to throw them away last night. My daughter told me to send a picture so I grabbed a couple to take a picture of.
i dont want this to be an overall rating as i have gotten great strawberries prior, but over half of my container was mushy and bad. i always wash off and put in a different container but as i took these out you could see lots of juice at the bottom of the bag.
complete box of strawberries covered w white spoilage have photo to prove threw in garbage immediately..also 2 bananas were rotten inside and head of lettuce was jet black on 1 side when delivered. tried to return several times but your website wasn't noworking.
Same day delivery and somehow no one noticed that they were absolutely covered in mold. Kind of scary to think about what other produce might look like.
I placed an online order. I normally have pretty good luck. I broke my shoulder and someone picked up my order for me as a favor. When we were unpacking the groceries I picked up the strawberries to give half to my 92 yr old mom and found them leaking. All the berries on the bottom were rotten and moldy. Then more had soft spots with skin peeling. Only a few on top were edible. I asked for refund (online) from order history link and it said refund only. No problem awesome I thought. Then it told me I would get my refund after I returned the berries. I can’t drive so I would have to get someone to return them for me. It would have cost me more to return them than the cost of the berries so I decided to do a quick chat for help. Ten minutes later the first person I chatted with couldn’t help so transferred me to someone else who I thought could read the entire conversation but insisted I explain the whole thing again and then acted very impatient. I explained right handed-broken right shoulder please be patient and then sent. After typing a new message 30 seconds more to explain, the person said I wasn’t responding and closed the chat on me. I was extremely frustrated and leaving the next day. I just gave up. The people doing the training on grocery and produce selection are not training properly. When you offer a service, the service you provide should be great. Not just adequate sometimes but great all the time. Particularly when choosing fresh foods. The operative word being fresh. Not half fresh and certainly not rotten. These comments are coming from someone with 40 years of customer service experience and training others.
These were awful- the strawberries were rotten. I am not sure how old they were but they should have never been used or sold when they were. I had a pick up order and the Walmart guy was the person who chose these for me. This is why I typically go to other retailers. Learned lesson again!
