Do Not Buy! Holy WOW! These were great a several weeks ago, but they just keep pumping out the same cherries that were picked…….several weeks ago.. these cherries aren't past their primes, they're fermenting! They are mushy, wet o the outside and almost all of the stems have fallen out! This is a complete opposite opposite from the beautiful red, plump cherries that they were supposed to be selling. If I was making spirits, these may be good but this is what I get for having Walmart deliver produce? From now on, should tip will be solely based on the quality of the produce. It seems like most of the time I get fruit or any veg other than lettuce, it's in terrible condition. This is the first review (of many I fear in the future), but someone needs to be checking quality control!
The cherries are fine the problem is I was charged for over two and a half pounds and only received a pound of cherries! They are expensive as it is but to be charged for something I didn't get is a BIG PROBLEM for me. You can see in the photo the amount as well as the actual weight
Red grapes delivered instead of Red cherries. Sent a photo to substantiate wrong product delivery. Plus Delivery fee to top the damage. Very disappointed.
These cherries are small (mostly smaller than a nickel), and though they are red, they are not ripe. The size is not the real issue here. It's the taste, or should I say "lack of taste." They taste like "nothing." Plus, the bag was ripped open and the ripped part was tossed into the shopping bag with the cherries. Was it the driver that did this? Maybe he wanted the cherries so badly that he just decided to rip open the package and give 'em a try. If so, he probably didn't eat very many as they were tasteless, to say the least. This is a Produce Manager problem. He/she apparently does not have a quality control system for the fruits and vegetables that come into his department. When a vendor delivers the fruits or vegetables, the manager should make sure they are "taste worthy" for the consumers. I've had this problem with other fruits and vegetables, as well. I'm very disappointed. Either the employees aren't trained well, or they don't seem to take pride in their work. So I guess ultimately, it is the store manager who's at fault.
I ordered cherries and these are not cherries these are grapes. Very different items!
Received an open bag with just 1.44 lbs of cherries, instead of the 2.25 lbs I purchased. It was obvious that some customers inside the store had snacked on (almost half) of the bag of cherries. Walmart Associates: Do NOT give your pickup customers open bags of cherries or any other fruits (this has also happened to us in the past with grapes)!!!
The cherries have mold on them. These were not checked on the outside of the bag. It it clear that this is a bad bag.
Paid $8 for 50 cherries…. I don't know if the person who picked my order or this is only option they had —- but disappointed in the quantity of cherries for the price !
When I get produce delivered sometimes some of the items have been removed produce bag. They say they sold me 1.62 pounds and when I put you in my home it is 1.1 pounds. I'm tired of being ripped off in this way. I think they should seal the bags at the time of measurement so this doesn't happen. It's not the first time it's happened before with oranges.
I bought four bags of cherries to make jam, and throughout all four bags there was mold and tons of squishy brown cherries. These are supposed to be red sweet cherries and they are not, they are brownish red cherries.
