Expensive compared to in season oranges (These from Peru). Nothing remarkable about flavor or consistency to cause me to buy. Other countries doing better job with navels.
I bought two oranges from a neighborhood walmart just to try them. They are a bit tough, fairly sour, and cost too much at 70 cents EACH (not by the pound) including tax. Not a good price and not good quality, and no it is not easy to return items to walmart.
they had no taste. watery
I was surprised when I was charged by the orange rather than by the pound. And to top off the waste of my money, it was no good, the very next day, much like most of the produce I see at Walmart's stores. When they even have any.
