Like the pitcher very much but the flavor that came with it was bone dry. Its a good thing I ordered more cartridges at the same time. Sure I could have sent it back but it would be to much of a bother.
I would definitely recommend this water pitcher. I do not ever drink water. I am dieting and am told that drinking water is the only way to lose weight. I had been buying flavored bottled water. The price was killing us. So we finally stopped. So I was back to drinking no water at all. I finally gave in and purchased this pitcher. Absolutely worth it. While it may seem a bit pricey it is worth it compared to the money spent on bottled water. Not to mention lugging it home and storing it and all of the empty bottles after. This is totally worth the money. I do wish it was a little larger. But it does fit very well in our over full fridge. I like that you can choose if you want to activate the flavor or not just by hitting the button. You can also control the amount of flavor you want. Great purchase!!
I considered buying the PUR attachment for the faucet, but it's really nice to have a COLD drink of flavored, pure water (no sodium, no sugar, no calories) on hand for only a few cents per serving. The shape is nicely designed to fit in the refrigerator door. I recommend it for anyone who wants to drink more water but like me can't stand the taste of it.
I purchased this product a few weeks back and is happy with this product. I'm not much of a water drinker but this has made me become one. The downside to this is that the pitcher is small and my family are heavy water drinkers so you have to constantly refill the pitcher after two or three times a day and you can't fill it to the rim because the filter will float or water will spill out over the top. The other downside is I've already went through three flavor cartridges. I guess you're only suppose to give it a hint of flavor but it has that dull fruit taste and I don't like that so I became a spritzing clown! You will have to change the filter every two months but I say clean water for your body is better than drinking hard water any day. With/without the flavor.
My husband bought this product for me and I was skeptical because I was more interested in Brita because my mom uses the Brita water dispenser. I am so glad he got this product instead of Brita! Our 5 year old son has never drank so much water! We love the option to flavor the water! I am so glad I wont ever have to buy gallons of water or bottled water again!!!! Thanks Pur Water!!
I like this water filter... It was more expensive for it than the other brand that was there and the filter's are a little bit more but it says it get a whole bunch more stuff out of the water than the other brand so we went with this one. The flavor options is great for my fiance who hates drinking water giving it a little flavor will help him drink more and i like that the flavor is seperate from the water so you dont have to have it in it. This will hopefully be a good solution to cut back on soda and rink more water!
I bought this pitcher yesterday and so far, I love it! The pitcher fits in the door of my COMPACT refrigerator! I expected it to only fit in a full size refrigerator but I was pleasantly surprised. The only issue I've had with the pitcher is with the flavor injector. The flavor comes out in an inconsistent manner. I don't know if it's a problem with the flavor cartridge or the design. When the flavor feature does work, the water is pretty tasty. Yes, it does take a little while for the water to drain through the filter but it really doesn't bother me.
This product is the best thing that happened to water since the invention of the faucet! Sure it has room for inprovement but, it is a great money saver and if your family is anything like mine (teenagers) then you will be happy you bought it. We all love flavored water and this is better by far than the bottled kind (no sugar added, but has the sweet taste).
The Pur Flavor Options pitcher is GREAT! My husband is a HUGE flavored water person and it pains me to pay big dollars week after week and also think about all the bottle waste that my family is producing. He LOVES the pitcher. Even though it is pretty slow with filtration, if you fill it after avery use, it works well! How you put the water into the pitcher is tough also... not very user friendly. However, a couple of pumps of flavor and it tastes just like the expensive bottles that we used to buy! I would highly recommend this product, but if you have a family that has more than one person drinking the flavored water, I would recommend getting a couple of pitchers, or consider the flavor option that hooks up to the sink faucet.
I bought this because I love flavored water but hate buying those expensive bottles. It was pretty cheap, the appearance was outstanding and was very durable but the only thing I don't like is that when I put my water through it, it tasted the same. It wasn't much better.I have to use gallon water. Also it's hard to get an accurate amount of flavor in each cup, you have to keep squeezing and pouring slowly to get it to taste good. Other than that, I think I could have done without it, but I LOVE flavored water so it ok.
