We have been finding mouse droppings in the closets, in the dresser and the armoire. I put the blocks in these places and others and in one day the block in the dresser was empty. We've found 3 dead mice the second morning and smell one behind the dresser. tomorrow my husband is going to bring a dolly in. Hopefully we find some more. We bought more refills today and will set them out tomorrow. I'm going to keep going as long as the mice showup.
This get's the job done.
These are great not only do you get the mice and rats but they will carry the blocks back to there nest and the young will die also, in most cases are vermin are exterminated in 3 to 4 days, also these blocks are like candy to rats and mice, I have used them againest the common house rats and even norway rats. Recently in Florida they were baited and used againest Gambia Riesenhamsterratte / Giant pouched rats, these are an invasive species and VERY VERY large, we found not only the adults outside but also a nest of deceased infants, well worth the trip to walmart and saving hundreds in exterminators expenses. hope this helps you. with a common problem.
These cubes are the way to go for large rats I had in my garage..They were coming thru the ceiling, which I closed up but were still hiding..I put out 2 boxes an in about 1 week they were ALL gone..don't know where they went an died, but never saw or smelled anything..These are neat an aren't tracked out of the box like the bits..Hope they don't discontinue..I can't find them on D-Con products.
We usually buy the D-CON mouse and rat bait trays to put under our mobile home to keep out mice and we haven't had any mice in 12 years of using so it must work. This time I ordered the "cubes" and my husband said he likes these so much better as they were easier to place around the perimeter of our home. I can't attest to their effectiveness or not as this is a 1st time using this type but if they work as good as the trays did, I'm sure this will be a replacement buy.
I either have a crawl-space entirely filled with mice or this stuff doesn't work. I used sticky traps for 6 months and thought I'd use this to kill whatever was left. So far it's been like candy in the sense that all the bait from all 3 stations is almost gone. But I don't see how it hasn't killed them all by now
I have always used the original pellets, they have always worked. Since they dont make them anymore I decided to try this bc D-Con has always been the go-to product. The rats wont touch it. Ive tried leaving the blocks out, grating it and leaving the smaller pieces, and cruching it into a powder and mixing it with peanut butter and various other foods to entice the rats. They wont come near it. This is completely ineffective and a waste of money and time. I purchased a humane trap off of amazon that has been more effective in catching them, its time consuming, but non of the poisons on the market are working.
I have used pellets in the past and they worked great. This new product is useless. The bait station has not killed one mouse. They don't even go into it. I put out the bait and they do not touch it. I have even crushed them up and put it in the old trays and its not eaten. Totally ineffective.
I purchased 2 bags and placed all 6 in various places. The bait was eaten and the poop had ,"green"from the bait within the feces. (No dead mice) I had to use sticky and old fashion snap trap to get rid of this nightnare. Under ground construction created this problem.
This stuff is terrible. Its like leaving food out to feed the mice. Does not work. But they love to eat it!
