This nest works great would buy again and tell friends to get one
Still remodeling so haven't had a chance to install it yet but I'm gonna be happy with the fact I can monitor the temperature while I'm away from home and turn the heat up before I get there
Easy to install and download on your phone. Being new I haven't actually tested all the functions myself but trust friends and family that have been using this for awhile.
Works as advertised. Easy to install and operate.
This is my 3rd Nest Thermostat. They've always work as advertised and they work well for my needs. One of the first things I do when we move is install a Nest Thermostat. It really helps with air/heating bills. Love them!
We almost gave up on this after several unsuccessful attempts with the Nest tech support. A few weeks past, we gave our last shot using one of the loose wires for C (not the typical blue or black… BROWN). It finally worked. No matter what anyone says, even the tech support, Nest needs power through C to kick the AC properly.
We love nest our products- and knew it was a must for our new house. We needed two , since we will have 2 systems and the price couldn't be beat. Nothing on the listing prepared us for what arrived. Both arrived in the same box from Walmart- however one of them had a dirt cheap sticker on it. This didn't sit right with me as these were supposed to be new unused and dirt cheap (while you can get good deals) tends to be open product. The way the plastic was on the box also seemed off on both of them. As they looked resealed and you couldn't see the google seal. I set up a return and took them into my local Walmart within 30 mins. The customer service lady was wonderful and she actually opened both boxes to verify they were in fact brand new and no reseals- that we could tell at least. However, she stated that since the item was from a 3rd party seller even thou fulfilled by Walmart I would need to reach out to them regarding any concerns. So I did, only to be told by the listing 3rd party- to take it up with Walmart if I was unhappy. We haven't been able to hook either up, but wanted to warn others of trying to get a good deal on a new nest with this shady stuff going on.
Got this brand new and even with A compatible wiring system, two electricians. I kept getting error “no power to the R switch” and now “ Please remove the thermostats from in space then reattach it “ No matter what happens. I need to return this .
This brand new device will not connect to my WiFi or the app and Google is stating that it will take 5 - 7 business days. The rep is saying it is out of warranty.
This seller is a FRAUD. I ordered two Nest Learning Thermostats. They were listed as new and arrived shrink wrapped. After opening the packages, BOTH of them had scratches and prints on the glass display and BOTH of them had the A/C connector pins mashed and bent inwards. They are selling damaged, used products as new. Beware!
