Perfect fit, and easy to install.
More up front cost but considering the 100,000 mile warranty it's well worth it. The cleaner and electrostatic spray have to be purchased separately but the cost is low. When opening the packaging be aware the filter has an oily film on it which is normal. The cabin smells noticeably fresh too.
Kept my old filter for when I need to clean the K%26N. No noticeable difference except I will never have to buy another cabin filter for as long as I own the car. Also purchased the filter cleaner kit. Two months in use, have to wait for 12 months before cleaning. Recommended and environmentally better - no filters going to the dump.
Quality looks really good. The fit was a little different from original factory filter but did fit. Have not had it long enough to tell how it has performed yet. My old filter was rubbing the fan which started to put a hole in the original filter. Don't think that will happen with this filter because of the construction of this filter. The original was just a paper filter. The K and N is a cotton filter in a steel mesh cage in a rubber like filter frame.
Great alternative for the disposable type; especially if you get it at a discounted price.
there was no clear indication of which way to orient filter; no arrow for airflow like on disposable filters. slightly difficult to slide in due to rubber frame catching/ hitting sides of compartment.
Doesn't fit snuggly like the original, not worth the price. It seats into place with gaps on the sides because of the flimsy frame. That lets air around the filter. Walmart has a cheaper model available and I would try that first.
I have not received it. How can I rate it
