This meal is one of my go-to lunches to take to work. I especially love the fresh taste of the edamame and the broccoli. Sometimes I even add a little peanut butter powder or a few peanuts for a flavor and protein boost, but I also like it just like it is.
I bought LC to aid in my weight loss. Today for lunch, I was craving carbs so I tried this meal. I was pleasantly surprised that the meal was satisfying. I would have given it 5 stars but the chicken was a little bland. The pasta was of a nice consistency, and there was enough sauce for the pasta. I think this will be one of my favorites.
I used to eat this a lot and thought i would try it again. My taste may have changed since i am getting older, it don't taste the same as it used to. Not that it's not good it is. The box is different and personally i think the other box had more appeal. Like they say why change a good thing. I still would recommend it.
This is probably my second favorite of the Lean Cuisine products, the Wisconsin Mac and Cheese taking first spot. The vegetables and Chicken are very fresh tasting and the noodles have a nice flavor and texture. I also love the edamame as part of the vegetable mix. This is a meal that I look forward to eating while at the same time cutting back on calories.
Definitely not one of my favorites but edible to say the least. I hate to complain because I love so many lean cuisines. The flavor is really good but the whole wheat vermicelli taste like cardboard. Perhaps if the recipe was slightly changed to the same pasta that's in the Sesame Chicken, it'd be much better. But on a brighter note, the vegetables are great and very filling.
I bought this meal because it has always been my favorite. One of the reasons is because it includes edamame for a protein boost in a delicious sauce. The box still shows and states edamame, but there was not one piece of it in there. Horrible quality control and very disappointing.
This used to be my favorite lean cuisine...the lima beans, broccoli and peppers were wonderful along with the chicken, noodles, and sauce. The most recent one I bought had 8 segments of broccoli, 1 slice of red pepper, and 3 yellow pepper bits. Where'd all the vegetables go?? No Lima beans? Sauce still tastes good but for the higher price since it's a "spa" cuisine, not enough colors. Switch back to the old stuff please!
I used to purchase this meal regularly; it was one of my top 3 favorites. The sauce was thicker, had a deeper, more pronounced flavor, the noodles had a nice texture to them, and the chicken was tender for a frozen dinner. Then, as others have noted, the recipe seemed to change. I am so disappointed. The crisp, colorful vegetables are still there. But everything else has suffered, and it's watery no matter how I modify the cooking process. Please return to the old recipe.
6 months ago I had eaten this meal almost every day for about a month. It was very filling & good. Just recently bought 2 ... had one today & it had about 1/3 less food in it than 6 months ago but same amount of calories...???? Is this just an error or has the product changed?
For starters, the actual food looks nothing like the pictures. The broccoli is mostly cut up stalks - I had a total of 3 small heads of broccoli in the entire tray. The vegetables and pasta are very soggy. The flavor of the sauce is overwhelmingly sweet with very little flavor. It tastes like someone dumped sugar straight on the food. I took a few bites and threw it out.
