Good quality and well built procuct. Didn't find any downsides yet.
This was exactly what I was looking for, compact, light, yet all the bells and whistles. Only thing is the receipt gets jammed inside the cover sometimes.
I purchase this cash register two days ago I like the features and the look but trying to program all my mercahandise took too long plus it was not programming the products correctly. I even follow the directions in the booklet but it too was giving wrong program codes. If you have the time to sit and read all codes and programming detail its for you. I had to return it to get something more easy and quick to program without the long wait.
I read a bunch of reviews for this register on this site as well as others. It seemed as though the programming errors were taken care of. Well, not so much. I spent a good 4 hours one day programming it, and as far as I could see it was going pretty well. The time didn't bother me, I have over 100 PLUs and 20 Departments that I wanted to create. When I went to actually use the register, I kept getting an error code that said I needed to program "condiments." Confused by this, and with no sign of help in the manual, I called Tech Support for Casio. Tech Support are a bunch of people who have no clue what they are doing. Very nice and friendly, but I would have rather had a nasty person that could help me. Tech support didn't know anything about the error, and had me erase everything and start over. So I did, only to get the same error message when I finished (this time I didn't program everything). Needless to say, I called back. Tech Support said they needed to send this to a higher person to try and figure out. Five days later, I still haven't heard anything. So I'm bringing this thing back. Save your time and money, buy something else.
