I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this product. It is very inventive and a neat concept!
It was easy to put together, good instructions and looks fabulous in the dorm. Perfect if your child has a lofted bed. It is nice to be have the flexabilty that this chair offers.
I've been a Wal-Mart shopper for years, but this is my first time on-line. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was packed for shipping. This chair is exactly as represented on-line. I bought it not only for extra seating, but also for an extra bed for visiting family. Assembly was pretty simple, although 2 of the bolt holes were not completely deburred & required a little extra work. It hasn't been slept on yet, but I'm pleased with the purchase.
Bought this for my older teen, so his friends who crash here will stay off my couch. :) Color is more beige than khaki, which is what we wanted. The picture shows it well. Comes with the striped pillow in the picture, but no directons on how to put it together. You will need a few basic tools, but it goes together solidly, once you figure it out. The kids who have slept on it tell me it's comfortable. It has clean lines and sets up/folds up quickly and easily. Comfortable as a chair & lounger as well. Will transition well to first apartment use.
I ordered the single and the double version of this chair. It was fairly simple to assemble but it is not sturdy and the legs are already bent after two weeks of use. The fabric is thin. The double chair does not even slide together anymore. It broke the first time we slid them apart. The single chair is better than the double but still leaves alot to be desired. The concept is great but the execution is lacking. It looks like dorm furniture which is what i was looking for, but , it has not held up well at all.
It was fine to sit on, even looks kinda classy with a modern look. However, if you want to use this as a sleeper I dont recommend it. I tried sleeping on it and after 30 minutes I could feel steel bars in my back.
The actual mattress pad is very thin, so if one intends to use this as an extra bed/guest bed, you'll need a mattress topper or bedpillow, to make it reasonably comfortable. That I can deal with. However, the true sign of poor quality is the fact that after two weeks, one of the folding parts broke/bent and now we are unable to fold it back up. Not worth the money. Looks fine, but other than that, not worth it.
I got this in our store, and was misled by the picture on the box. When I got it, it didnt come with any parts to assemble it with. I went back the next day, and got the parts from another box. Its not half as big as it looks, and it is very uncomfortable. Also, the legs that fold out do not stay up. Would not recommend.
Awesome idea and something we really wanted for our RV, legs bend and don't hold up, very disappointed.
The item looks nice however it came without any instructions to assemble the item...
