This product is made by Lorex, a company that makes real security cameras. The construction of the product is very good. It has a metal housing with glass front. The only negative is that the fake camera inside the housing does not have a glass lens, instead, it is a black plastic lens. It isn't really noticeable, but could be if someone was studying the camera at a close range. Otherwise, this thing looks totally real and is large enough for people to easily notice. I think it will definitely deter crime around my house! This product is a fantastic value at this price. In case you are wondering, there is not a blinking red LED on this fake camera. However, real cameras don't have flashing LEDs, so that feature would only tell experienced crooks that the camera is fake.
Serves its purpose. Only flaw is that if you can look at it up close the camera inside is obviously just black molded plastic. If you're seeing it from 15 ft, looks really good.
This looks like a real camera...very easily fake someone out, which we were looking for. It was a little pricey for just some plastic/chrome, but I guess it's worth it.
