The BebeSounds Angelcare Movement Sensor & Sound Monitor is such a god send. I am a natural born worrier. I sleep pretty good knowing that if the baby stopped breathing the alarm would sound. I tested it out as soon as I had the baby home and it really does work well. I sleep alot better knowing that my baby is breathing and that if for any reason he stopped there would be an alarm sounding off to prompt me to do something to save his life. Without this monitor I would probably be sleep deprived and cranky from watching the baby breath all night. That is exactly what I did in the hospital until I brought him home where his monitor is.
This product has been wonderful. We had some scares, and this was a great help. We don't go anywhere with out this monitor. It is well worth the price. I only wish that it has 2 receivers.
this product works great,gives you peace of mind knowing you will be alerted should your baby have a problem breathing,with the fear of sids I feel every mom needs this product.love it,have only had it in use for a week,but am very impressed with its performance.
If anyone has ever been so worried about their baby that they cannot sleep, this product will definitely help you out. I have been using this monitor for a few weeks and have been really pleased. The motion sensor can detect the slightest movement (even breathing). I would recommend this to anyone like myself who is constantly worried.
I love it, I feel very secure with it and I am glad I have the option to use just the sound monitor as well and the 'tick' feature was a nice little surprise, it ticks every time there is a movement, so you feel more secure. I didn't like the tick, but even if you turn the tick off the light flashes on when there is movement. I am currently using it in the bedside bassinet, so I do lay there watching the 'ticks' but again it is wonderful. I've never had a false alarm but I always pick the baby up and wait for the alarm to go off, just to make sure it will, and it does. It is also so sensitive, I can have my foot on the bassinet, not even on the monitor and it senses movement. I am very happy with it.
I had my first child in June. Before becoming a new mom I went above and beyond doing my research on EVERYTHING! I started out looking for a nice monitor and when I stumbled upon the Angelcare Movement Sensor w/ Sound Monitor I was very intrigued. I was and still am scared to death of SIDS so finding something that could help reduce my worry seemed too good to be true. We've used this product since day one and I could not live without it. It is by far the best piece of baby equipment I own. I don't know how people sleep at night without one of these!! We have had a few false alarms but only when my little squirmer scoots down to the far end of her crib. It only reassures me that it works! I even take it with me when I travel. I learned that when using it with a pack n' play you have to put something hard under it in order for it to work properly. I would recommend this product to everyone! I will, without a doubt, be using this for all my children. SIDS can happen to any child, no matter how healthy, so it's definitely better to be safe than sorry.
First off let me say to everyone that is reading this- BUY THIS PRODUCT. It is absolutely amazing. Once my son started rolling over I would go check on him COUNTLESS times during his naps and during the night. Ever since I bought this monitor system, I have gotten so much more sleep. My mind is at ease and I have time to accomplish housework while he sleeps without having to go check on him every 5 min. I was very skeptical about it giving me false alarms if he moved off the sensor pad. (he travels ALL OVER that crib) But I tested it and no matter where I put him, it picks up his breathing. The only negative thing about this is the little bit of static that the parent unit has. But its nothing I cant handle. I love this product and think that every new parent should have one! It will put your mind at ease knowing that an alarm will sound if your baby doesn't move for 20 seconds.
this product is wonderful. if i didn't have this product i wouldn't ever get any sleep. i can sleep knowing that if my baby stops moving or breathing an alarm will go off. and it really works.
I love the bebe monitor it gives me peace at night while I'm sleeping to know the monitor will let me know if something is wrong with my baby..
i bought this for my baby bc he likes to sleep on his belly and he is a new born. i like the concept that it detects the slightest movement. i just wish the pad that he lays on was bigger. my son squirms and moves off the pad so i do get some false alarms. but i would rather have a false alarm than to have a baby that stopped breathing. so i would recommend this to a sleep deprived mom who needs a little more reassurance. some sleep is better than none.
