It is SO nice to be able to plug in the monitors, and be able to only use the batteries when Im outside away from a plug in. The part that stays with the baby has been pulled off the table a few times and still works great. I love the light up feature. Since you can adjust the volume, you can have it loud durring the day, and turned down at night for those loud sleepers like my little guy.
We were given this monitor as a baby shower gift and we love it! It has excellent reception and we've never had a problem w/ static or interference. This has been one of our most used baby gifts! It's simple to use and has just the features you need.
I bought this product 6 months ago because the monitor I had at the time did not come with two parent units. The parent monitors do not work anymore and the clarity is very poor! The volume has to be on the highest setting in order for me to hear my daughter and the other problem is the static, its so loud and it hard to sit and watch t.v or take a nap. But when my daughter cried I did hear her loud and clear so i guess thats what really matters... I wouldn't recommend this monitor~

This product did not stand up to the fisher price name. The durablilty is terrible. We dropped one of our receivers and it never functioned correctly again.(our new Graco monitor has been dropped at least twice and is going strong) The static is so loud making it hard to sleep and difficult to hear the babies. The range is very poor. Overall we were extremely unhappy with this monitor. We bought a Graco for less money and it is by far the best monitor they sell! To all parents: read the reviews carefully before investing your money in this monitor!
I have owned this product for about 2 years, but unfortunaltely I haven't been able to use it that long. It tends to have so much static that I have to stop using it for a period of time. It is so bad I can't hear anything. It will work okay every now and then, but I would never buy this again. It is not a reliable investment. I have actually stopped trying to fight with it....and have given up on it. So I don't use it anymore.
I received these monitors from my baby shower, and I was really excited about using them. It didn't last long.. they completely quit working when my son was four months old. We tried everything to get them to work, but they wouldn't turn on or if they did the channels wouldn't connect. Think twice before buying these.
I recieved this monitor as a gift and evertime I use it all I can hear is static. Not only that, it picks up radio stations, so between the static and music it is impossible to hear your baby or sleep. Also the off/on button gets stuck and it takes about 15 tries to finally get it to stay "on". I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone!
This monitor is absolutely terrible. I've been using it for about 1 month now and I hear my baby fine in it but the big problem is that it has so much static that its hard to sleep at night because its so loud and all you hear is static until the baby makes a noice. Also, it picks up truckers so when I"m laying in bed I can hear men talking back and forth to each other so, as a user I'd advise you not to buy.
I bought this for my 2 year old daughter which we just moved into her own room. It was an easy set up but when we turned it on all we got was static. We decided to try it for a couple of days just to see if it would work, never did. Took it back and am looking for another. We are still using the Evenflo in our 10 month old's room which belonged to ou 2 year old and it works great. Can't seem to find another like in the stores though.
