My son is only 2 weeks old and he is already drawn to the lights and sounds of this product. The lights on the wall and ceiling are enough to put me to sleep. Very relaxing for baby and parents. I love the fact it has a remote....it is simple but practical. I think this is a very good product for the price. I would recommend it.
This mobile is a very good one. First the lightshow it looks great but you have to turn off all lights in the room to see it on the cealing, my ceiling is 12 ft high and the lightshow looks great on it and would look even brighter on a lower cealing. Second the music, it has settings so you can choose if you want it soft or very soft, and the lower setting is ideal for the baby to hear without being a distraction from sleeping. You have to choose the melody some the baby like and some they dont so you have to try until you find a melody that they like. The fishes are very colorful and the baby is easily attracted to them. My baby started th enjoy the mobile at around 5 weeks old before that it was like nothing, now that she is bigger she loves it. It turns not too fast to get the baby dizzy nor too slow for the baby to notice it is at just the right speed. You just have to wait until the baby is five or six weeks for them to develope enough senses to actually see the mobile and not images as they do when they are younger. Also it fits onto almost any crib mine have a round bar at the top and it still fit perfectly.
We purchased this mobile with our second daughter. She absolutely loved it! The light show is fantastic and the music is very soothing. I think she came to think of the fish as her friends, because everytime I would take her out of the crib she would say bye-bye fishies! We are purchasing a second one for our third daughter. It is very much worth the money and makes bedtime a lot easier!
The product is very good for early child development and have been using it since the day we got it. It helps build coordination of the eyes and muscles for the child. I recommend that this product to anyone that asks.
This for me is a must have. MY baby goes to sleep everynight looking at the projection fishies and stars. She loves it. She is six months old and she goes to sleep every night in about ten minutes. No fuss. I do agree that you have to pay attention what kind of crib you have because it was too small for ours. We had to cut into it to make it bigger. Also I think the music runs out in very little time. Not sure if I can adjust that. But since she very seldom falls asleep in over ten minutes I don't usually have to worry about it. It is definetly a must have. Very happy with it.
Our son (now 6 months) has loved this product ever since we first put him in his crib. He loves to watch the fish and the lights and I love that you can change the music when you get tired of the same song over and over again (we're forced to hear it over the baby monitor). It's gotten to the point that once he's in bed he'll kick his feet until we put it on then he cuddles up and clonks out. We have also been able to use it to hold him over while we make a bottle. I love the remote for it. It prevents him from seeing us turn it on again. The only small problems I have is that the remote wont work unless it has already run recently and I wish the songs played a little longer.... other than that, it's a great buy!
We got this product as a baby shower gift 3 yrs ago when my son was born, 3 years later he still has to have it on to go to sleep. I love the fact that it converts to a table top! I have bought many to give as shower gifts! We have also taken it with us when we travel across country to visit family. It is very durable. How many other products last everynight for 3 years!
I recently purchased this mobile for my baby thats not here yet. The mobile is so cute and I am in love with it. The only problem I would have to say is that my remote for my television turns the mobile on, that probably wont be good when the baby gets here! I think thats the only downfall, I love the fact that it has its own remote and the lights on the ceiling are so cute and I know my son will love it when he gets here!
For the price it is nice but it never stated how long the music and lights stayed on in any reviews. I hoped at least 10 minutes but it really is only about 5 minutes and then we have to turn it on all over again. I wish I had just paid the extra $20 for the upgrade mobile that played for 20 minutes. The remote is nice and works well though.My daughter loves watching the lights on the ceiling.
I was a bit disappointed with this mobile. It moves really slow, and my 4 month old just doesn't seem very interested in it. It also doesn't fit a lot of new cribs (ours included), so we had to use zip ties to keep it attached. I would have liked it a lot better if it were faster or possibly if the base lit up or did something interesting.
