Before purchasing this product I read the reviews from other buyers. The main complaint seemed to be the assembly of the drawer, which we did find difficult. It is hard to line up the rollers and get the drawer to stay in place. Since it isn't something we plan to use frequently, it works for us. The crib looks beautiful when assembled, but I do reccomend having 2 people when putting it together. Directions were easy to follow. When the box arrived it was slightly damaged but the product itself was packaged safely inside with no defects.
This crib was ordered online and received within 4 days with the Site-to-Store option. The crib seems to be very sturdy and the drawer located at the bottom is quite large and will hold a lot. It doesn't seem cheaply made by any means; however there were some gashes in the wood (from shipping or careless packaging). Luckily the gashes were not visible so I didn't have to deal with returning it. Excellent crib and looks great with our paisley bedding. I think our daughter will love it!
We bought this for our baby girl, due in March. My husband and I put it together in about 2 hours. We thought it was really easy to put together. The drawer is great for storing extra things!
This crib was easy to assemble, and is very sturdy for its price..If you're handy, this will take you no time to put together. We did the site-to-store, and everything came in quickly and had no missing parts or peices. Good overall experience. We did a lot of research to find a good crib, and would definately recommend this crib.
It took us almost a month to get the crib cause it was on back order but it was worth the wait we brought it home and set it up and it looks as great set up as it does in the pictures i give it a realy high rating and it wasnt realy high price either.
I bought my whole nursery set on wal-mart.com and the crib was definitely better than I ever expected. It took a little while to assemble (a couple of hours) but when it was done it looked beautiful and was very sturdy. The drawer is perfect for storing extra sheets and blankets.
This crib is absolutely beautiful!! The box we received it in was a bit damaged but the pieces inside were perfect just a little dusty. It was easy to assemble though you do have to put the head and footboard together yourself but that was really no big deal. Yes, The assembly instructions are on the bottom of the mattress board BUT you can also download them from the storkcraft website if you need them to be a little more handy. Another handy tip is to apply the drawer rails prior to installing the mattresss board. It will save you a few scraped knuckles in the end. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the look and quality of this crib. And yes, fitting the bumper pads around the edge of the bed is a bit hard due to the design but with a bit of creativity, I was able to secure my expensive crib set just fine and it looks wonderful. Oh also, if you have a mobile, you will have to attach it to the front of the crib instead of the back. I attached mine through the third slat and it looks great there. Hope this helps and Good Luck!
This crib is wonderful! We recieved the black crib dropped shipped to our home. It was easily assembled in less than 1 hour. Easy to follow instructions that are permanently attached to the mattress board. Excellent idea - no instructions to file away and dig out later. Very few parts to store for conversion to day bed and twin. Nice touch! If I had a complaint, it would surround the bottom drawer not being covered. We have adapted and overcome with our own solution to keep the drawer covered and items stored in drawer dust free. Very pleased with crib based on the price! Highly recommend! Now we just need the baby!
i love this new crib, i can't wait to put it to use, when the baby comes in may! some things aren't said in the directions to do, but still is kind of easy in some ways. some parts were damaged, and uneven, so it was hard to deal with that, but other than that i love it, and can't wait to put it to use!. The box was very damaged, we had SITE TO STORE shipping, so yah. that wasn't great. overall i love it :-D Oh and dont freak out after your done, and you see that you haven't used all the pieces! thats for the double bed and day bed, we freaked out! but reread the top of the directons. The thing in the middle of the crib in the picture is the directions, a little funny that they put it on their and like a huge poster board like. well have fun!!! great price too!
This Crib is absolutely beautiful and it came at a GREAT PRICE! Wal-Mart TRULY has LOWER PRICES, ALWAYS!! The instructions were a little hard to interpret, and you will need at least two people to help put this thing together...Three would be best! The only thing I don't like about it is that the crib is easily scratched, and bruised. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN SCREWS!! It will crack the finish and the top layer of wood. The inside drawer panels are a made of particle board and are really soft so be careful when placing screws. This was a great purchase for us and our baby. Good Luck, I hope this helps.
