This crib arrived in a timely manner, in great shape. No marks on any of the wood, all pieces accounted for. The instructions were good, and it was easy to build. My husband and I did it in an hour and a half. It looks great! The lift and drop gate is easy to use one-handed, and the trundle drawer underneath is a huge bonus in a small nursery! Great product. The matching changing table is beautiful and all the above applies to it as well.
This was actually a substitute for the original crib that we had chosen, which wasn't in stock when we went to order our furniture. This crib is a great value and is a beautiful piece of furniture. The other Storkcraft pieces that we purchased match beautifully.
The crib is stunning! The finish of cognac is so rich even though it is a lighter tone wood. The quality is impressive and you don't have to deal with buying additional peices like so many other convertible cribs. The directions are fixed permanently to the mattress support so you won't worry about loosing them later when it is time to convert. The quality convinces me this will see my children through many years of use. FYI the box it is shipped in is huge so if you pick up from the store have an SUV or truck! You will need two people to assemble.
This crib is very attractive, very heavy, very well made, and very complicated to assemble. The assembly would have been easier if the directions were in a booklet, instead it came on two sheets of paper and a sticker which is on the bottom of the crib platform. Additionally, the pieces are not labled. While you may think that there are not many pieces to assemble you would be wrong. This crib is wider than 36 inches so if you have standard sized doors you will want to assemble it in the room where is will reside. Assembly took less than one hour. We are pleased with the finished product.
Great looking crib. just got it. Baby's not here yet, so I can't vouch for it's durability when put to the real test. But it's definitely sturdy. No scratches or nicks on it like I've been reading on some reviews. My strong (he said to put that in there) husband put it up in about 2.5 hours with minimal assistance (and supervision...he said to add that too) from me. Having the instructions pasted to the bottom didn't seem to be a problem at all. I shook and shook the side railing to see if any obvious problem would arise, but none so far. The bottom drawer rolls well on the tracks attached to the crib. It probably won't hold much weight, but is convenient to store some light things. Very happy with the purchase so far, but again, have not put it through the real test with baby. Would recommend it (and have!) at this point already though. It seems sturdy and is gorgeous.
We looked at a lot of cribs in stores and online. We loved the features offered with this crib. The teething rail, one hand drop rail, convertible feature, and the drawer were all things we wanted. I was nervous about buying a crib online that I could not go see first, but we were not disappointed. The free site-to-store shipping is wonderful. It took my husband and I about 1 1/2- 2 hours to put it together, but it was 10:30 pm at night and we were tired. The directions are clear and pretty easy to follow. We both feel like it is sturdy and will meet our needs. I especially love the drawer for storage. I would definitely recommend this products.
We absolutely love this crib! It is a gorgeous color and very sturdy. As a first time mom, I searched for four months trying to decide which crib would be the best for the money, and I'm glad that this was my final decision. We had it delivered to the store, so we had no problems with the box or crib being damaged. It took my husband about three hours to put it together by himself, which is not bad as far as cribs go. I like the fact that it comes with all of the pieces we will need to convert it--no having to contact the company later, and that the instructions are permanently attached for future reference. Our baby is due in about three months, and we can't wait to use it!!
The crib is beautiful and after the fiasco with our first crib that we ordered (not the same crib) it was nice to receive it in good condition. We ordered through site to store and were surprised to receive it faster than it had stated. The crib is very sturdy but the drawer is a little flimsy. So we won't be using it for anything more than extra blankets. The instructions that it came with were a little confusing but with some careful thought and a little sense of humor we were able to put it together in about 2hrs. I am so happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone!
I am a new mom and wanted a really nice furniture set for my baby, but I didn't want to spend a lot. I did a lot of reasearch on Storkcraft and found that there hadn't been any recalls on their cribs (At least recently). I was pleased to see the variety of styles and colors for such a great price. I ordered 3 pieces and I've only got 2 so far. I'm still waiting for the dresser. The crib is beautiful. The directions for the crib are VERY difficult. Luckily my husband is good like that. Also one panel of the crib was damaged by the shipping, but storkcraft is sending us the part in the mail(although it takes 6-8 weeks). Storkcraft has crazy hours. It is very difficult to get a hold of them via telephone.
The crib is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. I love the bottom drawer to store extra sheets, blankets, etc. My husband put it together, and he found the initial instructions difficult, and some parts were labeled wrong, but he was able to figure it out. It is very sturdy.
